Great miter saw
Would RecommendGreat product. For doing bull nose baseboard trim, a 22.5 deg point on the bevel scale would be very handy. The scale does not have that value. I used 23 deg and it worked just fine. I found the shadow line that is projected onto the work to be very accurate.

SKIL sliding miter does the job
Would RecommendLight and compact but very powerful. This 10” Skill sliding miter saw is a beat. I recommend this saw to any woodworker or DIY enthusiast

Received a used/returned item.
Unfortunately need to return the item. I immediately noticed the box was heavily re-taped, and the saw inside was simply placed on top of the stiroform. The dust collection bag appeared used and slightly dirty, and the saw had visible sawdust on it. The biggest tell was that they forgot to remove the original shipping sticker from the previous owner. Not a confidence inspiring purchase when you expect a new item.

Needs a better board hold down clamp set up
The only thing I found cheaply made is the clamp set up, to hold the wood in place while you cut the board; the disc on it that touches the board is very thin, actually, too thin… I don’t see how by making it stronger it would cost very much to do so… other than tha,t it’s well-made for the price
