2nd 9960
Would RecommendThis is my second 9960, The first one lasted over 10 years and still running except the thread twists around the needle constantly. I have tried new needles (singer and other brands) different thread, cleaning, new bobbins, etc. I think as much as I use it, I have wore it out. This new 9960 machine I love too, for the price it is a excellent machine. I would buy again. I have another more expensive machine but my go to is my 9960.

Good Singer Sewing
Would RecommendAlthough my Quantum Stylist 9960 was delivered several weeks ago I have just used it this week. I did prior to this week unbox it, verified all that was included was there and read through the manuel that was included. I was pleasantly surprised to have a manual as I thought all manuals were now on line. I much prefer to have a manual in my hand to read rather than having to download and keep looking it up. 9960 locks up every other garment
Would Not RecommendI've had mine a couple of years and didn't use it much the first year so I didn't see the problem and couldn't send it back. My bad. This thing locks up every time I change fabrics, it's jammed right now and I just tried to put a basting stitch on a single layer of skirt fabric, that locked it. The first 2 times I took it in to our machine repair shop, he fixed it. But the third time I tried it again myself after it sat powered down a few days and it decided to work fine.
