Bad nozzle design leaks are a problem!

The main reason I initially bought this exact Rust-Oleum can was the "paint and primer" in one. I'm stripping and repainting a 16' driveway gate, "in December" when weather can be sketchy, so I decided to grind/sand as weather permitted and paint as I go, hence using rattle cans and this one which has paint and primer in one. However, like others who reviewed, about 50% of my cans leaked. I took back three of them and Lowes gladly exchanged this, but folks, 50% failure/leak rate? Come on, Rustol...

Can of JUNK

I think you need to listen to others and fix your nozzle issues. I have a small business and use spray paint daily, I buy $3 cans of spray paint that work perfectly. This is expensive and pours all over a persons hand when you spray it, also all over my garage floor, also all over the 3d project I was painting, causing a disaster.

Just right for the job and me

I have not used this particular spray can type before but I have used the brand for years. The combination of the great mix of paint, the paint flowing easily and smooth, and now the easy trigger action so there is less on my fingers and more on the project in the proportions I was trying for make this a winner and something I would reach for next time I have a spray painting project.

DON'T BUY

this leaked everywhere and made such a huge mess. my project isn't even done and the can is empty. i've used theyre other spray paints (with the cap, which is the gold i used) and never had issues.

Absolutely the worst spray paint I've ever used! It's blotchy, the spray nozzle configuration sprays inconsistently, it's lacking in internal pressure.... DO NOT BY THIS LOUSY PRODUCT!

2 out of 3 cans leaked

What an absolute mess this stuff made. I bought three cans to paint my shutters before reinstalling them after having new vinyl siding installed and my goodness, what a mess. The two stars are solely for the paint itself; the janky cans actually cost you a star on that, they were so bad. First can leaked a decent amount and before I realized what was happening, my right hand was painted black. Wore gloves with the second can and it didn't leak a drop. Cleat coat is fine, spray can/nozzle is not.

The paint that got on my project came out fine. What i didnt like was the amount that dripped from the can all over my hand. I was sure i did not have any of my fingers blocking the stream from the can. To be sure on the 2nd coat I paid close attention to the position of my hand and fingers, again product dripped from the can all over my hand. The clear coat that reached my project looks fine, what dripped all over my hand was not appreciated.

Nozzle clogged

I didn't realize someone had used this can already. The spray was uneven and the nozzle damaged causing the spray to come out in splatter instead of the even pattern I needed. I liked the color, but the spray process itself was abysmal.
