Horrible and dangerous sprayer design.
This fancy trigger style sprayer leaks horribly, splattering paint at times vs spraying it in a mist. NAy times it would stick and keep spraying when I let off unless I physically pulled the trigger back out. The dangerous part came as I set the can aside a few minutes between coats. When I picked it up to shake it again before a second coat, the accumulated paint behind the trigger area came flying out. Bad nozzle design leaks are a problem!
The main reason I initially bought this exact Rust-Oleum can was the "paint and primer" in one. I'm stripping and repainting a 16' driveway gate, "in December" when weather can be sketchy, so I decided to grind/sand as weather permitted and paint as I go, hence using rattle cans and this one which has paint and primer in one. However, like others who reviewed, about 50% of my cans leaked. I took back three of them and Lowes gladly exchanged this, but folks, 50% failure/leak rate? Come on, Rustol...
