Perfect for spray painting any metal projects

The primer went on very smoothly and had great coverage. I did apply two coats but there were a lot of areas on my project that almost didnt need a second coat. It even held up after it was accidentally rained on when the tarp I had covering it was blown off. The spray paint I applied had to be fixed because of the rain, but the primer held on and didn’t budge. I have used this product many times. It is a very good rust inhibiting primer.

Good as it gets!

There are many primers out there. But I have always used Rust-oleum for rusty metal. In my experience there is none better. I had some lag bolts that the heads on them had rusted. It was in area where I had to look at them. I wire brushed them, cleaned with paint thinner and primed with this primer. After it dried, I painted with a gloss finish coat of Rust-oleum. They look great and I know it will last.
