Instructions and Reality Differ

Instructions and reality differed. Sides did not simply "click" into place. Safety paper on windows took almost 2 hours to peel off as it adhered to it. One side was labeled wrong. The roof assembly was a struggle as nothing fit perfectly. The door mechanisms did not all align. Now that it is together and I cobbed the doors, it should last...I hope.

flimsy walls not worth $1000

I don't know what happened to rubbermaid but they don't make quality items these days. We had a 4x7 shed from 15 years ago and it has lasted pretty well under the elements. Thick, sturdy construction, thick sturdy floor and walls. This new one is a 7x7 and the walls and floor are paper thin and flimsy. The floor actually gives a bit when you step on it..like it's made of one layer, non reinforced anything. No wonder they make their hanging systems ridiculously expensive because you could h...

Quality appears to be good and durable. BUT unable to assemble due to LOWES! Lowes only delivered one box! This is a two box delivery. Unresolved as of yet as it is the weekend. Waiting on Lowes shipping department to contact us. Major fail Lowes!!

Watch the packaging

Kind of hard to put the top on. The box was infected with mice, mice urine, and feces. Was gross but the shed was fine once we got though all the mice and feces. Buyers be were.

Nice shed but with a few defect

This is a decent quality shed, but not fit for heavy loads on the walls.

Late delivery without updates

Still waiting on our delivery while app still shows delivery date as "yesterday". Second time I've requested an item shipped. The first time, an attempted scam set up with the delivery drivers. Lowes delivery sucks.

Really well designed

I read reviews about Suncast and Keter sheds that also seem popular and are sold by a number of vendors including Lowes. I wanted something of reasonable size to hold a push mower, tiller, snow blower for the summer and some rakes, but not too big. 49 sq ft was perfect. The Rubbermaid is a bit higher than the Suncast and the Keter. Although these alternatives seem nice (and similar prices), there are real drawbacks with the Keter about assembly and quality when you look at the user reviews. ...

Warping doors, save receipt.

Decent shed but after a few years in south Texas, the heat makes the doors warp. Warped so much it came off the hinge. You have to have your receipt for the 10 year warranty to be valid. Can’t find a spare door for purchase.

Reliable product from Rubbermaid

Like: No missing parts or hardware, perfect small-sized backyard shed. Not Like: The instructions were sparse on text, but provided lots of graphic diagrams. I had to use a few more tools than the instructions recommended/required. BTW: I bought an even smaller, flat roofed, resin Rubbermaid shed 10 years ago and it is still in use today. Thanks for the design improvements.

Avoid Rubbermaid.

Missing parts, and after contacting Rubbermaid there is no response.
