Storage Shed

Bought in 2015. The top sliding roof has never operated well. You have to shake it and jiggle it to get it to slide. The left top door hinge broke after 15 months. Door hinges should be metal.

Questionable,I didn't want to rate this

I purchased this shed Aug. 2016. I like to read reviews on the products I purchase and it seems to me you have done nothing to correct these problems, slide roof sticks, hard to mount roof to shed, front part catches on the back when sliding open. I can't rate the quality of this product because I haven't had it long enough to give it fair judgment, mine had a forklift ding in it but didn't notice it until it was 3/4's done. I like the looks of the shed but should have used metal in places where t...

Faulty Door Hinge

Would Not Recommend

I bought this shed 3 years ago. Even though it's several years old, we hardly used it. Maybe opened and closed it 3 times a year to get our generator for power outages. The top left door hinge split down. After all, it's plastic. But since we hardly used it, we thought it should last longer. Hinges should not be plastic since they carry so much pressure and weight. I noticed that many other customers had the same problem with the door. I plan to see if I can get a replacement door. If not, it's ...

Add on storage

Would Recommend

We just finished putting this shed up. First you have to have a level surface for this shed to work otherwise it will torque and things won't align. It was pretty easy to assemble with two people. The roof was a little difficult to get on, mainly because it can't be slid on from the front because the metal bar on the roof doesn't slide past the front of the shed, but with a lot of french persuasion we finally got it on. We had an extra part AB. No mention of them in the instruction manual...

Wouldn't purchase again

I've had this for about 3 years. The top sliding roof has never operated well. You have to shake it and jiggle it to get it to slide. The top door hinge broke after 18 months. Other than that, it is water tight and functions for the purpose. I'm reordering the hinges and a couple extra for future replacement needs

Lasted a few yrs

Would Recommend

Rubbermaid needs to offer replacement upper door hinges. It is a common problem based on the reviews. My shed was great for a few years but the left door hinge broke and it's a small part that plays a big role.

This is a plastic shed, not Fort Knox

Would Recommend

If your expectations are a concrete or wood shed this is not for you. If you have a level foundation and take care of it you will have no issues.

Okay Products but broke after a few months

Would Not Recommend

Well, along with others, the upper door mounts broke and the doors fell off. Also, unless the ground is very level, you will have problems putting this unit together and having it operate correctly. Won't buy another one.

Well made. Thorough instruction pamphlet.

Would Recommend

Bought this two years ago. It has never leaked. I didn't prepare the ground correctly when I put it together, but the shed has come through two winters and has served me very well. Because of my ill-prepared ground site, after a year, the right hinge bracket broke, when I had to use pressure on the structure to open the right door, but I fixed it with a piece of flat, thin metal. I really am satisfied with the shed. It is strong and durable.

Bad Winter results in a bad roof

Would Not Recommend

Loved the shed till this winter was over. It lasted almost a year but 10-11 feet of snow did the shed in.

Bad Hinges and doors

Would Not Recommend

Only had this shed for a few months, Both doors broke were the top hinges attached and the top hinge broke today. Love the setup and the concept for a quick shed. It would be nice if Rubbermaid send me upper replacement corners X 2... to replace them. Left 3T16 2 and right 3T174.

DON'T BOTHER WITH IT

It has not even been a year and I have been having the same issue as most of the people who have bought this shed. Roof will not slide back unless you pull up on the back end to clear the rear roof. It's obviously a very common issue and now the clip that holds the door in place is starting to break along with the door starting to separate at the seams. Rubbermaid is good at replacing the parts but what happens after the 1 Year Warranty is up? Will I have to come out of pocket every year to fix ...

Leaks, doesn't open easily

Would Not Recommend

We have had this shed for two years, but wouldn't recommend it. We built a level base for the shed, and had no trouble with the assembly. However, the lid doesn't always slide easily - the lid slides easily only when it is warmed by direct sunlight. In shade or on cloudy/cooler days, the front part of the lid must be "lifted" over the back portion of the lid in order to be opened. The location where the two lid sections come together also leaks each time it rains or snows (even if the snow is cl...

Needed a smaller shed to store outdoor resin lounges, beach chairs, lawn umbrellas, and my wife's garden decorations. Also needed one store 2 generators, a power washer and a lawn mower. Found them easy to assemble entirely by myself, for extra stability both sheds were set on a base constructed of 6x5/4 pressure treated decking lumber and screwed down with the supplied panhead self tapping screws. Only problem I had was with the second shed received tow of the same sides. Contacted customer ser...

didn't last a year

Would Not Recommend

Winds ripped a door off and the hinge on the other side broke, One door needs replacement and the hinge on the other side. The plastic is just not strong enough to last for an extended period. This is an outdoor structure and should be able to stand up to outdoor conditions. Please don't blame the wind for a bad design using plastic not strong enough as it looks like many others have the same issue.

Poor quality ruins it

I purchased the shed about a year ago. Assembly was not difficulty with 2 people and a power screw driver. Great shed but unfortunately one of the door hinges snapped causing one of the doors to fall off.
