Doors easily break

I agree with the concept of this shed but it is poor quality. We bought two sheds and both sheds the door hinges broke. we are trying to figure out a way to salvage so we don't have to spend another $800.

NICE SHED, BUT NON-FUNCTIONAL SLIDING ROOF

Would Recommend

I just bought this shed a few days ago and it looks great once assembled. Nice shed for my purposes. Holds a lawn mower, gas cans and some gardening tools. Solid construction - except the sliding front roof is difficult to operate. It keeps getting caught on the stationary back roof. Needs more clearance space. I'm sure that the reason for the non-functional sliding roof is due to the fact that I have the shed on a dirt foundation - rather than a solid (concrete or asphalt) foundation - bu...

Wonderful design but totally non-functional

Would Not Recommend

During the one year warranty period, I noticed the sliding lid was hanging up on "something", but since it's seldom used I let it pass. Then the problem got worse and worse until I had to crawl into the shed to prop the slider up to clear the stationary roof. After fussing with it and checking screws for proper torque, I shaved some of the edge of the stationary roof off, and the slider would work again...for a little bit. To counteract the sagging stationary roof, I fashioned a brace to bring t...

Roof stoped to slide

No hard to assemble but after 2 days that I put my snow blower and mower inside the roof stopped to slide. I need to raise it from inside with one hand to make it slide. No clue how to fix it

I've had this shed for 4 years, I have to keep replacing the hinges. Why do I have to call to order parts? It's 2018 you don't have an online catalog?

Very disappointed

Would Not Recommend

I purchased this shed and upon first assembly, I am already experiencing the same problems as others. The slide top does not function. The sliding top hits the back of the shed and will not open. ive tried for several hours to get it to work correctly, but it does not. I spent as much time trying to make it work as I did asssembling the product. I have to get on my hands and knees to access inside the shed.

Nice looking, poor quality

Would Not Recommend

We bought this shed a couple of years ago and have had to replace hinges constantly. They are always breaking! (see photos). The roof never slides easily and this year it completely came apart and now does not line up properly (see photos) I am so disappointed with this product.

Second bike shed

Would Not Recommend

I bought this shed to replace a previous Rubbermaid bike shed. The top has warped and broken open to the point that it leaks on the bikes stored there. I replaced the previous shed because the top warped. It was great compared to the present one . this one has always been difficult to open and slide the top.

Nice little shed

Would Recommend

the shed pretty much exactly I expected it to be. for the most part it appears to be well made, I am however am am a little worried about All the screws basically just being driven into thin plastic. several of the screws seemed to strip the holes with very little effort. there are enough screws in the assembly that I think it will be fine though. as far as difficulty in assembly, I would say that if you can follow the instructions and you are pretty familiar with the basic tools then it sho...

Assembling this product is very difficult.

Would Not Recommend

An octupus maybe able to assemble this shed, but for an old arthritis riden man and his wife it took eight hours and several spats. Walls are flimsy, top is almost impossible to construct at the proper angle. Just a very poor purchase on our part. Had another shed that was bigger, stronger and so much quicker to assemble and went together much, much easier and quicker. Top (front and rear) should not be angled, but a little rounded and each piece front and rear molded in one piece. Afraid first ...

Flimsy, Poor Design

Would Not Recommend

Poor quality. From day 1, the top sliding roof was non-functional, and after a year one hinge broke. As with every other reviewer, the top hinges are brittle hard plastic and one (3T17 8) snapped easily with normal use. Planning on ordering replacements and spares as I doubt the replacements will last any longer. The upper (sliding) roof portion sags and doesn't slide smoothly onto the rear lower roof section. There's a metal plate positioned perfectly to prevent normal operation. The met...

Roof is warping

I have had this for a few years now. Over time the corners of the roof have begun to warp upwards. This places downpressure on the middle of the rear of the sliding roof, making it very difficult to push the roof back. I had been able to push down on the corners which would allow the roof to slide, but it is beyond that point now. Shed is level.

Yet to see how it holds up

Would Recommend

To an earlier review, the picture of the shed shows a lock on the front, obviously the best way to secure the doors from blowing open. So far I like this shed, I have made the ground a leveled area to set it on. I do have to lift the back end of the front sliding roof to open it. Also if Rubbermaid would send me door hinges,I would appreciate it. From reading these reviews they obviously break easy as I will be in and out of the shed often for my yard equipment. I was also curious as to what...

Design flaws

Would Not Recommend

I bought this product last spring to store bikes and yard tools. Size and shape are great. However, with the first storm, the doors that were properly shut blew open and then the hinges broke. Thing is, I think had there been a lock on they wouldn't have blown open, thus the hinges wouldn't have broken, as now when I physically place the doors on and place a lock through the provided metal loop, they don't blow open. Wish the company would say something about this in their manual - would have pu...

Poor door hinge design

Would Not Recommend

I bought the slide lid shed last Fall to store my self-propelled lawn mower and the future purchase of a small riding lawn mover. I noticed the top left door hinge broke last week. I specifically installed the shed on a concrete pad, under my deck backed up to my three seasons room. I thought these added precautions would protect the shed from the elements. Hinge is just a poor design at a major stress point.
