Nice outdoor shed but roof will leak after 5 years

Purchased from large box store in 2008 and thought this would last forever. The roof seams started to come apart only after 6 years and parts are no longer available. Not really a sound outdoor investment for the price compared to how long it will last.

Men Need a Garage Closet for Large Stuff.

Way To SMALL!!!---Hey Rubber Made-- How about a Flat Roofed Interior Walk-in Shed 4'W X 8'L X 6' High to use as a Closet in our garages to store our lawnmowers, large power equipment and tools out of sight and away from the cars "in our garage"?? Make it out of refined hard shell plastic and movable so we can take it with us if we move.

I purchased my first Rubbermaid Storage shed exactly like this one 19 years ago. It has been in the full Texas sun all of those years and finally had to be replaced. The durability of this Storage shed is unbelievable and a great price for a great product.u

Holds up well

I bought this a year ago to store my gas lawn mower. Easy to assemble, has not faded, looks nice and keeps weather elements off my lawn mower. I have to fold the handle down to store the mower but there is plenty of room to store gas can and yard tools along with the mower. I also bought a weather safe pad lock to keep the mower safe. Nice size too, fits right on my patio and is shorter than our 6ft fence .

Excellent Choice

I've had the shed for a couple of years. After a quick wash, it still looks new. I keep my cordless lawn mower in it, sometimes with the battery in place. No water intrusion, at all, so there has been no damage to the mower. The other day, after having stacked the rest of the gardening tools on the folded mower for last two years, the shelf notches became of interest. Great Size

It went together quickly and fairly easily. This product was the right size for what I needed. My only comments (wouldn't call them negative exactly) are: 1) the instructions weren't particularly clear about assembling the floor of the unit. Picture shows inserting from the front, however really need to insert floor about 2/3 of the way before swinging sides next to floor and inserting in side slots and then pushing floor to back and snapping into place. Good Quality

Very impressed with the quality and easy assembly. My husband and I assembled it in about 20 minutes. Quite sturdy. Holds all our outside tools nicely. We also bought a large Rubbermaid deck box and I assembled it myself in no time at all.

PARTS DO NOT FIT WELL

I assembled the shed last week. Assembly took almost 2 hours because the parts were molded so poorly. This replaced an identical shed the lasted over 20 years. The new shed is made of much thinner plastic and the bottom already has stress cracks from standing in it attempting to complete the assembly. No where in the instructions does it say not to stand on the bottom. This shed is very poorly made.

Assembly Problems

Bought the shed yesterday. I have come to the conclusion that Rubbermaid needs to spend a little more on quality assurance. There was so much molding flash on the snap fittings that I could not get the back to go together. After an hour of trimming flash, I still cannot get it to go together as shown in the instructions. Bought this to put at the end of my drive for my garbage... wind had taken 2 garbage cans... tired of replacing them. This is anchored, looks neat, very pleased

The product assemly was easy. It is light and durable with no maintenance. I replaced a homemade container that needed to be painted, etc. This product obviously needs none of that. Happy with my purchase and it looks great.

Great garbage storage container.

We purchase this 15 years ago to prevent raccoons from breaking into our garbage cans, It has worked perfectly and while it is a bit mossy due to its position on the north side of the house is showing no signs of damage. We are moving soon and will purchase another one immediately for the new place.

Back piece is hard to put together

The knock outs would have been nice to be knocked out at the factory.and the back piece is very hard to get together,that's the hardest part but once you get past that,and get out the knock outs it goes together easy,and is a great product.

Extremely Durable

We have had this shed for 13 years now after a neighbor who was moving gave it to us. We use it constantly for our garbage cans and last fall we put our grill in it to protect it from Sandy. It has stood up to tropical storms, our annual onslaught of raccoons, blizzards, and kids who climb on it. It has a few scratches, but it is in great shape otherwise. I would recommend this shed to anyone who wants a durable, long lasting shed.

Extra Deck Storage

The outside storage shed is hollow molded heavy plastic - should weather well. Color is appealing. Snap together assembly without tools. Assembled unit (empty) is light and easy to move. Sloping roof and overlapping side panels water tight but maybe not water proof in a driving rain. Item is exactly what we wanted and we would recommend to a friend.

Rubbermaid 60x32x47" Storage Shed False Dimensions

Item ordered because of its advertised width of 60". After assembly the outside dimensions were only 57"!! The shed is useless for its intended purpose.

You will be so happy when it's finally assembled

The directions are poor, omitted a step in installing the floor. Impossible to assemble by one person, extremely difficult with two people. You will be so happy when it's finally assembled - a celebration will be in order. Looks nice, we like it now.
