Both Home Depot and Lowes put this 7x7 Rubbermaid shed on sale for $150 off the usual $649 they were asking for it. I think I know why: perhaps there is a new manufacturer involved and the quality control has gone done into the toilet. I have a large metal shed that was full of tools. I wanted this shed to be my workshop so I inquired and finally purchased a shed to house my lawn equipment and large tools (i.e. shovels, rakes, etc.) I choose the Rubbermaid Xtra large shed for three reasons, first was the size, I needed a shed that would house the tools I mentioned plus more. Seems Good, Only Time Will Tell...

A few observations of the product: 1) Make sure you have a level surface to assemble and place the unit. 2) The unit went up fairly easily. However, the sheet metal screws provided to secure the horizontal metal bar to the gable above the double doors are too short (#14 x 3/4"). I recommend that #14 x 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" screws be used straightaway so as to avoid needlessly stripping/ruining the holes in the resin gable with the shorter screws. 3) This shed and its accessories appear to be Lowes...

We purchased this shed yesterday. My husband is a excellent carpenter. Good thing to. The holes were not lined up correctly so he had to drill them bigger. We were missing screws that were important, had to go dig in the shop for something that would work. cheaply made for the money. Roof gets hot and not enough venting for gas cans.

I read lots of reviews before making this purchase. Thanks for all the info!!!! Followed the directions and it was a snap!! I did have a pad to put it on, but the directions made it easy and only needed alittle help!! Now I will never hit my head going in or out of my new shed!!!

Useful unit

When I saw the product in Lowes I like it, so I bought it. If was very easy to put together BY ONE PERSON. I did not like the amount of cut away for fitting the pieces I had to do which should have been done at the factory level. I took all the parts out and lay them out for ease of assemble, the roof panels warped, that should never have happen, I expend time reshaped it in order for it to fit. The company needs to do better quality control and fix the warping problem of the roof panels

Good Product

This shed was much easier to put together than a metal storage shed. I put 90% of it together without any help but there are some parts of the installation that you will need an extra hand to hold everything in place. The instructions were good overall but could have used a little more detail in certain areas. I found the roof the most difficult part to install. I purchased this shed yesterday and put it together in roughly 3 1/2 hours, mostly by myself. My wife helped a little. As long as you follow the directions and pay attention to the pictures you can get it together fairly quickly. Great product, fit perfectly on the slab i had poured for it. I bought this to replace an old shed. We were able to salvage the original base which elevates shed to prevent flooding. While it has a great floor, you will want to put it on 4x4s and gravel. Cant say how easy to assemble, had the gardner do it, but it is very nice and a great size for storing a lawnmower, tools and other garden essentials such as extra chairs. It has little skylights which keeps it bright inside, and easy to see. My last shed was a cave. A grown man can stand upright in it too...

This product really surprised me in it's quality because the price was so low. It was really simple to install, just read the directions carefully. It took my husband and I only 3 hours from start to finish. We would definitely purchase this item again and highly recommend it to others.

A Tough Shed - Easy to Assemble

I read a lot of reviews on both wood and resin sheds before deciding on this one. So, I wanted to offer my own review to help someone else out. A Clean Well Lighted Place

Comes in two huge, long boxes. Unboxed in the parking lot and barely fit it all into my Highlander. Very easy to set up, but does take a couple of hours. It has a raised plastic floor to keep things dry. I put it beside my garage in the RV parking spot on the concrete. There is still a nice 5' gap between the shed and garage to get to the back yard. 7 X 7 Storage shed

It does require two people to put together and took about 3/4 of an hour longer than stated. The seals for the window are very difficult to keep in place when installing. The only cons are the time required and the seals.

Level Placement Imperative!

Primarily, this shed is an outstanding value. There was nothing comparable within $150 that was available in our area. It went together quite easily, with minimal help from a second person, in just a few hours. It looks very, very good in our smaller "L" shaped backyard. 90% WITH 1 PERSON TAKES A SECOND HAND

WENT TOGET AS THEY SAY , WANTING A PERFECT FIT OF THE PIECES DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE YOU PUT A SCREW IN. ALSO HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE RIGHT SIDE DOOR WILL BE CALLING RUBBERMAID AS SOMEONE DID . IF A SECOND ONE IS DONE IT WOULD TAKE 3 HRS WITH THE BASE BUILT.

Box is pretty big and heavy, so good choice to have lowes deliver it with 21 bags of concrete I used for the base. One morning to prep the site and pour the foundation.
