What Customers Are Saying
The storage shed is generally easy to assemble with clear instructions and well-fitting parts. Many found the assembly process straightforward and were able to put the shed together themselves in a relatively short time. The shed is reported to be sturdy and provide ample storage space. However, some have experienced issues with the durability of the doors and roof, which can warp or become damaged over time. The shed's weight capacity is also limited, making it difficult to add shelving or store heavier items.

Would Not RecommendIf the ground/surface is not absolutely level during assembly and then where you place it, then there will be cracks and the doors will not close currently. We’re talking plastic here. The lock feature is a joke. Lift the roof and the door pops out. We’re talking plastic here. The hooks that come with your purchase don’t hold much to any weight. We’re talking plastic here. I can not stress enough to you (the reader) DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT

Easy to put together it's a little flimsy floor has to have support to weak, walls don't snap together well, where was it made, to cheaply made, would not buy it again, had to build a platform to set it on,not worth what we paid for it. Would have taken it back but took out of box wasn't able to put it together right away

Just what I needed
Would RecommendAfter reading reviews on this item I was a bit worried about the assembly process because the only help I could find at the time was my 11 year old son. Only help really needed was securing the roof. What a breeze it was to assemble this unit. Other concern was the doors but I have no problems there either, yes with a little effort I believe someone could get the doors open but I didn't buy this for gun storage. Also purchased a Edsal 72-in H x 48-in W x 24-in D 5-Tier Steel Freestanding Shelvin...
Nice little shed
Would RecommendMaybe 4.5 stars is more appropriate but this is still a very nice little shed. Very simple to put together, did it by myself and used the 5 gallon bucket on the roof method that someone else had suggested. Took maybe an hour. Constructing the base took a good few hours, I had to add a good bit of dirt and level the area I wanted to put it and took my time constructing a 4x4 base with some 2x4 cross braces out of PT lumber then put the base on 4 paver stones. Don't know if it'll hold up in a ...
NEW SHED
Would RecommendI received the Rubbermaid Roughneck Small Vertical Shed 4/5/2018. I assembled it on 4/6/2018. It took about 1 1/2 hours to assemble. Very easy! It looks great and seems to be very rugged... We get some bad storms here in south central Texas, so we will see...

Check the contents before starting
Before you start, read the instruction and check the contents of the box. The shed requires an improved base. I built the base and found there was no hardware in the box. The Rubbermaid customer service was very nice but only available during normal work hours. Having to build the base and no hardware extended my project well past the weekend. It went together fairly easily and seems sturdy.

Nice shed
Would RecommendThis is a good product, fairly easy to put together, really can be done by one person in about an hour. You must have a level surface to put this shed on if you dont you wont be happy with it.because the doors will pop out of place when you open and close them.i put mine on a paver slab that i built for it and it worked great.

Warped roof
Would Not RecommendI bought this storage shed 4 years ago. The roof has warped so badly that the doors fell off. Now I have to hold it closed with rope. I live in the southwest where we have extreme heat but I truly expected it to last longer than 4 years. Very disappointed in Rubbermaid!

Good "shelter" but not weathertite
Would RecommendI bought this to use as a clothes closet behind the RV I live in full time. The roof seams leak and constantly soak my clothes. I have attempted to seal the joints with silicone caulk but they still leak. Keep in mind this shed will provide shelter but not good for things that cannot get wet. It was easy to assemble, even working by myself.
Rubbermaid Shed
Would Not RecommendEasy to assemble Only reason I gave it 2 stars I live in Florida and both side walks and doors bowed due to heat Now the doors fall off when I open it up and I have big gaps on seams between sidewalk and sidewalls and top.
Storage shed.
Would Recommendshed is sturdy. The holes for most of the screws had to be drilled before the screws were installed. This made it harder to install. It was definitely a two person job. My daughter and I completed the job. It took two half days of work to complete the job.

Cleared out the garage
Would RecommendI was able to assemble this shed by myself. Although another pair of hands would of been helpful putting up the walls. I built a foundation to get the shed off the uneven ground using pier blocks and 2x4's. I also installed a ramp to the door and a set of shelves inside the shed. The shed looks to be very sturdy. I'm able to store my lawn mower and all of my garden tools in this shed. I needed this stuff out of my garage. You can put a lock on this shed, but a thief can get in with little ...
Survived cat 4 hurricane Harvey
Would RecommendBought this 2 weeks before the hurricane hit. We were right in the path or Harvey a category 4 hurricane. I mounted it on some pallets and through a rope over the roof just for a little extra support. Every tree and fence in our yard were destroyed and our little shed survived intact.I also enforced the door hinges with leather straps.
Found hole in panel after assembly.
Would Not Recommend1. Found 2 inch hole in middle panel after assembly. Terrible inconvenience to get a new panel from Rubbermaid, disassemble the right half of the shed, and replace the panel. 2. Shed requires you to build a well supported wood platform because the plastic base platform is too flimsy.

So Far It Works As Advertised.
Would RecommendI'm 70 and my wife is 68. We put it up on a hot, windy Texas day. It was a bit of a struggle to put up at our age given the weather, but we were able to do it in about four hours. The instructions were written well. I would make one suggest to Rubbermaid. Do the punch outs at the factory. No need for the customer to do the work for you.
