Design Deficiencies/Structural Integrity

Poor design. Not very stable even on a fixed platform. Door design very poor...door comes off about 60% of the time when opening. Would not buy it again.

Parts missing

I bought this shed to have at our vacation home. When assembling the shed, it was noted that the bar across the top and the door handles are missing. Lowe's has no parts or replacement sheds. Stuck with a floppy shed. Very dissatisfied with the product!!

Why no Shelves!

Just put this together. Got online to order a shelf or two. Imagine my surprise to see that many others are asking for the same thing. Rubbermaid, get the hint! Your customers are speaking! How about some shelves!

NO shelves!?

Imagine how useful this shed would be if only there were SHELVES available with brackets that just clip in and are sturdy enough to support some weight!! Come on Rubbermaid...figure it out!!

Nice shed and easy to put together

bought as extra storage behind my main shed and it does the job. pretty easy to put together. took about 1 hour by myself.

It is what it is

If you make sure you have a proper flat foundation, and you follow the instructions, it comes together just fine, and it is exactly what you would think it is, a vinyl shed. The instructions are a bit more confusing then the actual assembly, so make sure you understand what it’s saying during each step. Don’t jump ahead because each step is ordered for a reason. They provide “helpful hints” along the way, the only one I found helpful was pre drilling holes for the screws, the soap was not needed...

Rubbermaid 5x6 storage shed

Very easy to assemble, only defect found so far is where roof panel joints and wall panel joints line up with each other, there is a small gap that can and does leak rain water in when wind blows the rain at an angle. Simple fix with sealing foam plugging the small gaps.

Good Shed, took about 6 hours to install (1 person

Build a base of 1x1 Pavers. Note that the actual length is 6.5FT, so you will need 7 X 5 = 35 Pavers for base. Not sure if base was needed or not, Shed comes with nice rubber floor. But thought it would be good addition. One of the first wall pieces had trouble putting together, wall might have been warped or user error. Should have put the two back corner together first, then installed to the base. All the other pieces fit together no problem. Note you do need access to the back to screw in...

Wood shed

The shed is well built for its purpose; has been consistently weatherproof with no leakage of any kind. Definitely a great buy.

Good sized shed for garden tools

This is a good sized shed for minimal garden tools. I have the basic stuff like rakes shovels and push lawn mower stored. I would say however that the shed needs to be on a perfect level space as the doors do not close well unless perfectly aligned and square. I had the problem of being on a slight decline and the doors kept popping out of their placeholders when trying to close them. Had to level out as best I could with sand. Works decently well now but since its plastic its hard to keep truel...

Great Shed

This is a great shed for the price. Assembly only took a couple or hours by myself. Making the foundation took twice as long. made it using 4 x 4 s. and weather plywood. Big enough for my two snow blowers and other yard tools. Love it.

Easy to assemble shed

I really like the size and ease of assembly. I only need assistance from my wife for a few minutes and was otherwise able to assemble it by myself.

Beware of melting

In the Summers our temperatures range from 90-105 degrees. This shed started warping after Summer 1. By the middle of Summer 2 the doors don't stay on, and 2 of the other 3 sides are visibly warped. Inside we had a couple hooks for our 2 fiberglass handled shovels, rake, and 4 hand garden tools, the rest of the stuff just sits on the floor. One of the shovel hooks actually pulled out of the plastic from the melting. Just garbage shed if you live somewhere where the temperatures get above 90...

Quality product with easy assembly

This shed is the perfect size for the three adult bicycles, a couple beach chairs and several other random items. It was easy to assemble and has provided the protection from the elements.

Perfect for High Desert

Pretty easy to assemble, with only a little assistance. Heavy and durable enough to withstand 20+ MOH winds we get up here, but light enough to slide into position, when empty. Material good for hot sun of summer, and snow of winter. Great to have a 6 foot ceiling. Most smaller sheds have low ceilings. Perfect combination of dimensions to nestle along the side of house.

Rubbermaid Roughneck Shed

Is not as advertised 5ft.x 6ft. width is only 4.33 ft. Somewhat flimsy, and has no venting or provisions for adding venting. Black roof doesn't help. c

Very Good quality

Make sure you have a level base for the floor. Very easy to install and assemble.

Worst purchase and Service from Lowes

I sent my husband to pick-up the shed. Upon arrival, he said he waited over 45 minutes for an associate to locate and bring the order to him in the store. Then, when he received the box, the box itself was completely soaked. The most important / biggest problem is that the order itself is missing critical pieces. The handles / any of the hardware for the handles are missing. The brackets to hold all of the walls together are also missing. Additionally, there is no hardware that would lock it...
