Would RecommendI read the mixed reviews and was a little skeptical but it worked great for me. I didn't push down too hard and found going in circles instead of side to side or up and down helped. Wax on, wax off, no side to side.
Ideal Tool to Get the Job Done!
Glides easily over wallpaper with just a little pressure. We had our large area scored with very little effort in a short amount of time. Our kiddo did the lower walls for us, fun for all!

Would RecommendThe tool is very effective (for as long as it lasts). It quickly and reliably cuts just deep enough to penetrate the wallpaper without damaging the wall. I used one to remove wall paper from one room and bought a second when the first broke. I still would have given it a positive review but the second broke within minute of starting to use it. The plastic axles for the cutting wheels are just too weak for the task. The design is sound but the material of construction is garbage.
