I have been a fan of Roku for years gave them as gifts and have them in many rooms in my home. Bought this about a year ago and have had problems from the get go Terrible product over all. • Shut off and restarted • Continual dropped signals • Will not connect - Telling me I have to many channels delete some [Only have 14) This is a Terrible product and would recommend you don’t buy

Cable sent is not compatible with TV

I bought a Roku in 2014, two weeks ago it gave up the ghost. I ordered another one right away, and the cable sent does not fit into my TV port. I had no problem with the last Roku, but they don't make that model anymore. I looked at the other products on the Roku website, and the only items that might work ore the Roku Tv's, which I don't want or need.

I don't have cable in my room I got to amazon stick didn't care for it unless it was jail broken, I have had the Roku Premiere for maybe about 2 years it is now over heating every time I plug it in boo :( I changed the HDMI cord but it is still over heating I don't know what to do other then buy another one I did how ever grab a cord from the site and I will see it if helps.

No power or volume buttons.....

I love my original Roku but decided to upgrade for new features. I loved my remote having a power button and volume buttons because we have no clue where the TV remote is and haven't for years. So imagine my surprise when I open this one and see no power or volume buttons... Not even going to bother plugging it in, it's going back immediately.

A Comcast rep recommended this as a replacement for their cable box. I made the mistake of listening. Continual dropped signals and lousy pictures. I have Xfinitys best wi-fi and the signal is fine per Roku. Using XFinity Streaming I continually lose the signal! Other channels have similar performance. On all 3 units that I bought! I bought this unit for a rarely used bedroom. It has been turned on/ used exactly 3 times(!) and when I tried to use it for the 4th time no one was home. Tried troubleshooting, including hard reset via the button on the back. Nothing worked. Our other roku units have no problems, including a premier that was purchased many years ago and worked with this remote control no problem. This is the 5th Roku I have purchased and the first one that doesn’t have a WiFi remote. Al my previous Rokus are mounted behind TVs and work great, but this one needs line of sight to work. Extremely, extremely disappointed. Nothing in the literature indicates that. I fell very ripped off. I am also concerned about how warm this unit feels, running that hot, I doubt it will last long. “Premier” is a serious misnomer.

This is the sixth one I have order for 4 TV's

So far our of 6 Roku Premiere that I have ordered I have had two go bad. The wifi keeps dropping because it starts running slower and slower on the wifi. When this happens YouTube will not work. If I do a check on the Wifi, it tells me my wifi is too slow. I have three other Roku's that are working just fine and they are further from the wifi router. I have a very fast Internet connection. It is a good product but beware of this if it happens to you.

Sometimes I can watch a whole movie without a problem. However, Often it loses connection with my router. The device is in the same room as the router. I try restarting the Roku. I know the problem is not with the router because my laptop connects just fine to it. Sometimes the it takes minutes to reconnect, sometimes it takes over an hour. There is no way to predict which it will be. I have a different Roku device in another room, and that one stays connected.
