Love this doorbell. We have had it for about 3 years now and it has been super nice. We can answer the doorbell when we’re not home & converse directly with the person at the door. Great for solicitors too, because you can just tell them no thank you without having to open the door.

We use this on several doors on our house. Although sometime it is a tad bit slow, it’s definitely been helpful.

Security for Dummies

My husband has 4 security cameras around our home perimeter. It took him WEEKS to tweak everything with calls to the manufacturer, endless resets of the router, etc. they work fine now. However, he installed the Ring peephole and the app. Got everything working on both of our phones in under an hour. It is very user friendly and provides a clear picture. Being able to speak to someone at your door from a remote location is a big plus. Great purchase!

Very helpful

The view through the peephole is very clear. Fairly easy to install. I'd recommend turning off motion alerts if you live in an apartment building. Also the sound of the doorbell was pretty low at first, but you can turn up the volume in the app.

I wanted the hardwire doorbell from ring but my door bell on the side of the door instead of a straight forward view. So, got this one. I love it and it works great. the battery life is supposed to last from 6 months to 12 months before charging again, depending on use. It is true so far. I have to work on the settings a bit for motion detection is too sensitive.. and the volume of the person speaking to me at the door is too low. can't hear them. I bought this for 70$ last week on prime day Good doorbell The cable strip is flimsy One end came out so bell wouldn't work had to redo it I highly recommend Already saw crazy stuff

Peephole Cam Wireless Wi-Fi

Great product. Let's me see when someone is coming to the door and I can remotely let them in using my smart lock without ever leaving the comfort of my couch. :) Also, let's me know when a package is being delivered or when someone is wondering outside my door that shouldn't be. Battery last a long time. Haven't charged mine in over a month. Super easy to install.

Does not work with storm doors!!!

CAUTION! Will not detect motion through screen or glass storm doors. There are other brands that do. I was going to use Ring for the entire exterior of my home, but decided to return everything and find a more technically robust brand. Disappointed!

Love my ring! And because it is a peephole insert, it’s perfect for apartments, condos and people with no previous doorbell hookup! It was cheaper in comparison to their other models. It’s battery operated and sends alerts right to your phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed my peephole cam last week and at first it was super annoying because it was sending alerts every time a car passed by the house. However, I figured out how to disable that or make the sensor smaller so it's all good now. I love that I can see who is at the door without going to the door as well as when I'm not home. It's the best!

Very Nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my daughter who lives alone downtown Austin in a not so nice apartment area. We put this in her apartment to keep tabs on who is at her door and who enters, we didn't trust maintenance very much. So far, it has given us comfort that she is safe or least we know who is at her door and when!
