Needed 5 of these draw slide for a Chest of draws I repaired for my grandson, @ $5.00 a piece they were well made and worked perfect.

They will work but ...

These are extremely difficult to get apart. They say "friction." As another reviewer pointed out, you have to repeatedly slam the pieces to get them to slowly come apart. There is nothing in the instructions that tells you to do this. I had to come here to find out how to get them apart. Then you install them, and you can't take the drawer out to fine tune the runner. I can't imagine slamming my drawers repeatedly to get the runner apart. Finally, once they're installed, they do open and close, ...

Nice Drawer Slides

I installed these in a couple of nightstands that I built. They are of good quality and value, and were straight-forward to install. I would purchase again.

Good Product, Terrible Instructions

Everything works as expected and seems to be pretty sturdy. However, the instructions on the packaging are very hard to follow. Also, you have to watch their video on how to disconnect the narrow slide from its wide bracket, but if you do what the video shows, it works pretty easily.

not what it needed to be

I got qo of these to fix my toolbox and they only slid out about 4 inches I couldnt get them to go full extension so I returned them and got different one for way less money

Use a C Clamp

To take the two pieces of the slide apart you can use a c clamp and a small block of wood that fits between the main rail. With both parts 90% extended you will see a flat steel part sliding on the rail. Clamp this down and you should be able to separate the two parts needed to install. great for upgrading old dresser drawers.

These were great for upgrading old dresser drawers. Not sure what the bad reviews are for. For the low price they work very well if used in an appropriate way. Probably not the best choice for heavy drawers or very high use kitchen drawers.

I used these on 3 drawers. Two came out fine, one did not and have not figured out why. So far, so good.

impossible to separate slides

have tried to separate and even reached out to Richelieu and they are no help. Am returning the slides. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this product. Look for any other alternative.

Drawer Slide

The item was well made and easy to understand it's workings. It was a little difficult installing due to our home being 48 years old and the frame for the drawer slide had to be reconfigured to accept the slide. Once installed the slide works very well and has not caused any problems.

Doesn't Open

This may have been a good drawer slide. However, I can't separate the 2 pieces so I can't install it. I can hear it hitting a tab somewhere in the middle when I try to separate it. I am not going to waste time and possibly injure myself trying to work around a manufacturing mistake. Will be returning it and getting another brand.

Center drawer slide

I was expecting to have a somewhat smooth sliding drawer but I didn’t get it. Heaven help me when I fill the drawer with something.

Useless

After 6 attempts to install this junk I gave up. Three pieces and after you secure them to the drawer and wall the entire assembly comes apart. Instructions are no help.

The rail was Fair. Needed some spacers to get the job done.

Quite slide, easy install

Used a YouTube video to understand how to install. Make sure you install wood to bring out from wall to attach back of slide

While there's techinically nothing wrong with this product, I found it difficult to open up to get to the slots for screwing it to the bottom of the drawer. I also was disappointed with the sturdiness when it was installed. It is adequate but I wish I had converted the drawer to side slides which would be much sturdier when extended.
