Richelieu 22 inches drawer slide

I have all my drawer replace with this slide. It is not hard to install and it is very sturdy. Once it is installed, they are not going anywhere.

nice but not friendly instructions

The most troublesome thing that I found was that nowhere on the package or instructions did it mention how much was the total extension. Although the overall size was 22" it wasn't until I got it home and opened up the package that I found the movement was only 14 inches. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time. Also, the mounting holes don't have convenient through holes to get a screwdriver in to fasten it to each part of your project. The instructions are not very clear or illustrated...

I will not buy this product again

I could not separate these friction release drawer slides. I watched 2 internet videos on how to separate the drawer slide and also took them back to Lowes multiple times to try to find someone who could separate them. Finally, of the seven different Lowes hardware people who tried to separate the drawer slides, only 2 of them could do it. I will avoid these at all cost. It was a huge waste of my time. Where hard to install, insturctions were hard to follow.

awful design, very difficult to separate two parts, no instructions. They were getting stuck once put under the drawer so I couldnt get the drawer out. Infuriated me.

The best product for the money!!

Although the product was not intended for my purpose, it surpassed my expectations of how the final project worked! The slide is well made, all of the hardware was include and the excellent help at our Lowes made the job a success!

Take some time...

The instructions for this are at best, poorly written. You have to watch “you tube” videos to see how to get them apart for install. However once they are installed they work perfect.

Where to begin? I wonder if the engineers who designed this unit ever installed one. The instructions don't include information on pulling apart the two sections of the slide. In fact, I didn't know I COULD until I saw reviewers' instruction on-line while posting this review. How to take apart for mounting

There are 4 pieces to this assembly: The cabinet mount (large track) The drawer mount (small track) The bearing plate (all the little balls) The rear support From the closed position and the cabinet mount (large track) side on the bottom,slide the cabinet and drawer mount apart until it stops. Decent value

Overall the quality is ok but it seems flimsy especially when the drawer is loaded with just a few utensils. It did the job though and was a quick fix for a drawer guide in very poor shape.

Great product

It can make old worn out drawers work better than ever, you may need to put a board on the back of your cabinet (as a spacer) if the track is not long enough. I have these in one of my houses that are 40 years old an still working, Note to get the track apart you need to pull it open several times without closing it all the way.

I had my doubts about using one drawer slide/guide for the drawer I was building but it was the best buy I could find, and as it turned out, worked out to meet all my expectations in what I wanted and needed. It was easy to install and works exactly the way I expected. I would recommend this product.

Not a Good Design

A drawer slide should come apart so that the two sections of the slide can be separately installed. Even though the instructions state to pull them apart, they can be separated. It made installation extremely difficult and I had to jury rig the slide.

Very Hard to Install

Purchased this item for a replacement and when I opened the package there wasn't any instructions on how to dis-assemble for installation to a drawer. MOST OF ALL! VERY POOR DESIGN!!!

Only for new construction

When I went to buy these at the local store, there were only pices on the shelf, no closed packages with entire contents... now I know why. Luckily (I thought) they had overstock above. You need full open access to the drawer and cabinet (new construction, no top on the cabinet) to install these things. I was replacing slides in furniture and there is NO WAY to install these. Also, they have about the worst instructions I have ever seen. Slides should not be this difficult.
