Would Not Recommendthis valve does exactly what it says it does. the valve itself is a little hard to open and close. had to use coconut oil to ease the process. without the oil it takes a lot of force to open and close.

VERY tight seal
Would RecommendThe only thing I'd like to see changed is the force it takes to open and close this valve. Requires a lot of muscle power to turn the knob. Most samples in the store bin are virtually impossible to turn. I don't consider myself a weakling but I've found only one (in two separate Lowe's locations) of a dozen that is mildly hard to operate, but tolerable at least. The others practically require a pipe wrench or a "cheater bar" to turn the valve handle.

Wrong size - 2 1/2 inches
Would Not RecommendApparently when shopping for PVC valve connectors, we are supposed to go by the valve size and hope it fits our pipe. This 2" valve is for a 2 1/2" pipe so we wasted a bunch of time because companies don't know how to label sizes correctly. When we talked to the assistant, he insisted that a 2 1/2" internal diameter valve connector would fit on a 2" external diameter pipe. We finally found the 1 1/2" valve which was actually for a 2" pipe.
