And just like that, a deadbolt exists where no deadbolt was before haha. This brand deadbolt is adequate. If you're just trying to keep an honest man honest, the quality of this brand seems adequate. It does feel a bit "tinny" compared to the known quality lock brand(s). If you're looking for actual security from someone trying to break in, maybe go with a better brand. Difficult to install

Two hours to install. Could not get both side to accept key. Finally settle with only one side accepting key.

It’s okay

 Would Recommend

It’s very inexpensive. Doesn’t run as smooth with the key on both sides. It is also not Quick Set, so it cannot be rekeyed to match my other locks in the house. However, for $15 it installed fast and kept our senior citizen loved one from escaping out the door!

This lock is being used on an entry gate and the hardware to secure the lock to the gate (2 screws) began to corrode after three (3) days after installation.
