Very solid, easy to install
Would RecommendVery easy to install so long as you pre-drill pilot holes (I found out the hard way that you can spin off a screw cap if you don’t pre-drill a red oak railing). Very sturdy as long as you place them every other stud. I used them for a long stretch of hallway in my elderly parents’ house so that they had a handhold while walking. Worked great and feels very sturdy.
