Would RecommendIn the past, we've had no luck with the standard chain link actuators. The chain was always breaking. I purchased this actuator chain and was very pleased at how easy it was to install. The links allow for easy adjustment so you can customize to the required length you need. The connection at both the plunger and flusher handle is sturdy so I'm confident this chain should last at the connections. Only time will tell how quickly the water erodes the chain but it does appear much more sturdy than ...

Would Not RecommendAfter almost 2 weeks the chain pulled apart at both ends leaving the chain in the bottom of the tank. I may be able to put it back together, but what a pain!

Would RecommendGiven an infinite number of possible manufactured chains designed to universally lift the actuator of your toilet, Lowes has managed to stock the best one imaginable. Think about it, the best chain out of infinite chains. Good on you, Lowes. Don't wait. Buy it. They will run out after this review goes live.

Fantastic Universal Actuating Lift Chain
Would RecommendIf you are looking for a Universal Actuating Lift Chain, this may be the one for you. Attach one end to the handle and the other to the flapper, and suddenly, pressing the handle causes the flipper to lift, thereby releasing the water in the tank. It is great that this was invented because now you don't have to take the top off and reach down into the tank to manually lift the flap. Cool!

Would RecommendThanks to this product I went from a toilet that wouldn't flush to a toilet in perfect working order in less than an hour! It took some muscle to install, but that was most likely because I didn't have the right kind of pliers handy. I have absolutely no complaints. It was, as I said, exactly what I needed. ^_^
