Would RecommendI use soaker hose--the stuff that looks like it was made from crumbled recycled tires--for irrigating home veggie garden. Run a water timer, and it's great--but the soaker hose is a bit fragile. These barbed fittings fit my 1/2" soaker hose, hold tight without zipties, and don't need any pre-heating to prevent hose splits during insertion.
