Would Not RecommendThese were purchased for tubing bought from Lowes for coupling irrigation lines together. They slipped right out of the tubing. There is a difference between 1/2" and 17mm...be aware these are 1/2" and the tubing is supposed to be 1/2"...but maybe 16mm as the 17mm coupling I bought from another source is too tight. The manufacturers need to make standards that are standard.

Would RecommendI decided to review this since i noticed only people with inferior knowledge have taken the time to do so as of now... This coupler is for underground irigation “ swing pipe”. This will Not work with the other 1/2 in irrigation pipes. I repeat this only fits Swing Pipe. I use a heat gun od small torch to warm the pipe, it slides right on and doesnt leak.

Would Not RecommendI was buying this for 1/2 inch irrigation dripper tubing. Rainbird has a coupler that is ideal, but this isn’t it. No specs in the description so had to go by the photo. Didn’t realize they also made this smaller coupler.
Easy and works as expected
Would RecommendI’ve used dozens of these over the years and have nevwr once had an issue. Juat nake sure to get the tube on fully and well over the barba on each side.

Would Not RecommendFixed it on, the moment I tested it, it blew. The "over the pipe" ones (that you fit the pipe into) are way better.
This product is for use with swing pipe when you are connecting a sprinkler to underground piping. It sounds like you tried to use this with drip tub...
This item is designed for use with swing pipe that attaches an automatic sprinkler to the water line. It is not designed for use with drip tubing.
