Would RecommendI found these bar stool seats to be the perfect component to make these plants stands. I used CD and LP crates to achieve the height and then the bar stool seats were the perfect size to use as a top and bottom. very reasonably priced and a little sanding well help before painting or staining.

I would also like to point out the edges of the disc are not rounded over. If you need edges rounded over you can ease them by sanding or utilizing your router.
