Next time though I would probably buy one that was already 100% put together because it’s easier. Great and easy DIY project

The kit comes with 5 feet of screen, 4 frames, corners and everything you need to make a new screen besides a hacksaw for cutting the frames to size. It's so nice that you can make your own window screen, especially for uniquely sized windows. If your window is a standard size I would say to just buy that already-made screen though. It's a two-person job to put together this screen kit to make sure that it is tight. Like I said it's great if you have a unique sized window that you need a screen.

easy DIY with right tools

I got the 60 inch kit and was able to use it for an oddball size window since you cut the lengths and widths yourself. Make sure to have a hacksaw with a fresh blade, scissors, a razor blade and a spline tool for the screen.

It was a little intimidating at first but once I read the directions and started I found it very quick and easy. I had a new screen in our bedroom window in about 30 minutes. I'm pleased with the finished product. I'll be buying more to fix the screens in a few other windows.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great as we have 3 boys so at some point or another something needs to be fixed. My husband fixed one of our screens and he said it was easy to use (although he is a carpenter). It should be noted though that it does not come with any screen material, just the other pieces.

We scanned the QR code and watched the helpful instructional video. It was so easy to measure, cut and assemble. We already had a screen roller tool, so the screen itself was a breeze to install. The finished screen is durable and fits securely. I would buy this kit again to fix another screen.
