Great screen kit

Not an easy DIY, but beats the alternative

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things first, this is not an easy project. Especially with an old door that might not exactly be perfect anymore. However, it does beat the alternatives which are buying all the parts separately or buying a whole new screen already assembled (very expensive). I'm glad I dont have another screen that needs fixing. If I do, I will consider the more expensive options and depending on my budget possibly purchase this again.

Screen repair

Great Idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to build the frame and very easy to install the the screen. The directions became unclear when installing the pull tabs and tension clips. It would be nice if they could make the direction clearer during this stage of the process.

Easier than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little hesitant at first but this window screen was so easy to install after reading the instructions! You just have to read carefully because the frames bend a little easy if you're too rough with them, but other than that this was a breeze! It was a great replacement for what I had prior. Will buy in the future!

Simple solution

Easy to do yourself.

When you're finished it looks like you jusy bought it from any big box store.and is relatively easy to do with a steady hand. The kit has 4 frames, 4 outside corners, 2 corner leaf springs, 2 vinyl pulls and 60″ screen mesh and spline.

Great feature

Easy to use

I was able to do this completely on my own. It took me less than an hour. And it looks and fits great. I am pretty proud of my self. And would recommend this for sure!

Nice little kit

Perfect for my fixer upper

Now, granted my husband did most of the work, I feel as though I could have easily handled this project on my own. Supply your own repair tool, tape measure and saw to cut frame. Measure twice and cut once! We got thr bronze kit, matched our existing frames perfectly. Project took probably about 2 hours in total (with some "help" from the little ones. ...

Easy to master

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The learning curve is quick and once you get the hang of it, you can knock out a screen in no time. I have a bunch of windows that don't have screens and I hate bugs getting in the house when we leave them open, so this screen kit was excellent. I have a very old house and it seems like no 2 windows are exactly the same, so this kit made things easy to create custom sizes.

These were an equal replacement to what i had. My cat tore holes in 2 screens on my windows. This fixed it. Such great quality. Also thick enough that it dose not rip easy when installing. Easy to install, very useful. Easy to work with and cut with utility knife. Panel was a direct fit and installed easily. Very nice material...

Sturdy

This kit has been great for us to quickly repair & the material is strong and so far has held up well to the elements as well as high people traffic. Easy to use and great overall.

This is a nice kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a screen door that goes to our deck and out of all 5 kids 3 of them since they were little could not reach the handle so they always pushed on the screen which in fact tore it broke it etc with this new kit I was able to replace that item and get all this taken care of on a second thought I installed a nice little new handle lower for the grand kids for the future
