Would Not RecommendThese were extremely hard to open and close, even with WD-40. Even after opening and closing several times, it still required some light hammering and a vice grip to open. The smaller ones work a lot better.

Would Not RecommendI write reviews that are a sub 0 or over 5. Before buying, i saw a review that said difficult to turn. Wish I listened. I did a bunch of complicated -plumbing for a new pool fountain that cannot be undone by just removing this valve. Once it was all in place, I had to turn the valve bc the main fountain had too much water relative to the others. i tried EVERYTHING to make it turn. Eventually it broke off. I am so frustrated. Do NOT waste your time. So mad.

Impossible to turn
Would Not RecommendI bought three of these 2 inch valves. Of the three two are almost impossible to turn. I found out after they were installed so I'm sure I will be paying someone to replace them soon. It's just a matter of time for the handle to break. These are junk.

Good quality
Would RecommendI installed this on my sewage pump vertical discharge as a shut off valve in the event that I would have to pull the pump. During installation make sure not to apply too much pvc cement on the ball side of the joint. You do not want to get the cement on the ball valve.

Would RecommendYou turn it 90 degrees and the water shuts off. It's a valve. What else can I say?
Solid valve
Would RecommendI currently have 4 of these installed. 3 underground in irrigation boxes and one above ground as main shutoff. They don't leak by as of now. Does take 2 hands to turn them. Some upgrades maybe would be a arrow for direction of flow and cheaper cost.
Stop the Slop
Would RecommendThis is a very well made and rugged piece of plumbing hardware. I used it to stop backflow of ugly stuff when a sewage ejection pump needed repair. It easily closes to limit the release of contaminants when piping has to be partially dismantled
