Would RecommendSo I have a 1" pvc line for irrigation and needed to add a sprinkler. This was the only solution I could find. Seems a bit overkill, but it works. It requires at least 2' of exposed pipe, and pvc cement.
Another way to replace a broken pipe.

Would RecommendI used this product originally, 3 years ago when shopping in Lowe's and a United Plumbing plumber happened to be in the store and recommended this product for my situation. I used it and it worked like a champ! Two tears later I had another repair to do, and used the same product. Again it works like a champ on my well plumbing that sees a lot of surge pulses when the well kicks on.

Would RecommendThe coupling works well but needs to be installed in a specific order before gluing or you will waste the coupling. A 1-2-3 diagram needs to be included with the product or print a web site link on it to direct a novice to a video on how to install it.
Don't unscrew to glue.
Would RecommendWorked great. However, don't do what I did and unscrew the end to make glue-up easier. It took forever to get the threads realigned once the two pieces were separated and glued. There will always be a little misalignment and its a bear to get it just right. Leave the two pieces loosely screwed together, glue one end then stretch it out glue the other end and screw down tight to seal.

1" PVC pipe coupling sleeve
Would RecommendThe product works great. Only advice plumbing associate didn't give me was to make sure the sleeve is able to extend fully when you install it. If not, it will cause the pipe to bow.
