They are considered sturdy, heavy-duty, and provide ample space for wiring and larger electrical components. Some customers found the boxes to be a good fit for their specific needs, such as installing outlets in an equipment shed or basement. However, a few users encountered minor issues with the mounting strap or the nail/screw holes being too tight. Overall, the boxes are considered quality products that serve their purpose well, though some customization or additional work may be required depending on the installation requirements.

Would RecommendI installed these in a garage for single plugs because I wanted more room in the boxes . Agree with a previous comment about the nail/screw holes being a bit too tight to the box. The only other issue I had was I using snap in NM 1/2' cable fittings. I got one in halfway and ended up was pressing down pretty hard on the box without supporting it and snapped a spot weld.
Good enough but would like less 'wobble'
I would prefer the strap be a bit stronger such that the box would be less apt to wiggle. Other than that it does what it's intended to do; good enough.

- The Gangs All Here
- Well this 4" gang box works great especially with the attached mounting tabs that make positioning it at the correct recess measurement to the stud framing. Doesn't get any easier than this..... Also, the Sigma Electric ProConnex 3/8-in Snap-in Connector Conduit Fittings fit perfectly in the knock-out holes in case you need some of those to complete your installation.

Worked just fine
Would RecommendPurchased box for an electrical project on a sheepherder wagon I was restoring. It worked perfect for my application.

Simple box to add to exposed studs or joists.
Would RecommendGood product. You can hammer its tabs in place then put on a couple screws to secure it. One annoying thing was that I did not find the cover with rectangular opening for a GFCI outlet (maybe Lowes hid them somewhere else) .. I ended up buying the common double rounded and make one myself. Problem solved.
