Found the ceiling joist, cut a hole, inserted the box, screwed in the small screw, two heavy mounting screws go thru the box into the just to hang the fan bracket. DONE!

SO MUCH MORE SECURE than a std nail in round box!

The Hubbell RACO Plastic New Work Saddle Boxes Electrical Box is seriously awesome for wiring projects! I used it for a home electrical setup on my ceiling fan mount, and it made things so much smoother than I expected. The best part is how secure it is! The saddle design clamps down tight on the rafter, holding the box super secure. I was also worried about wires slipping or getting loose, but this box kept all my Romex locked in place, no problem.
