Finally a smooth long broom stick. I am not sure if its hardwood. When we do floor refinishes having a short stick or an end that has a big hex head makes them unusable. This is solid in the broom as well as the applicators. It stayed tight as well . I know this sounds like an over examination of a broom stick. when you use it for 8-10 hours you become very aware of the short comings.
