Would RecommendI like being able to use these anywhere without needing to remove sand and transfer it to another bag. Thet are completely self contained with no leaks, very sturdy. I use them to weigh down my patio umbrella and furniture so they don't blow away. They are quite stiff so there's no extra room to shape them. Preweighted for me is a great convenience and worth the price.

Not the best on ice
Would RecommendIt's pretty much beach sand which does not provide much traction on ice. The grains are smooth which is great for a sand box but need to be edgy and fractured for ice.
