Pretty good product.

I received my purchase on time and exactly as advertised. And the hose works great with my existing central vacuum system (by VacuMaid) as well as Nutone.

central vac dreams!

I've always wanted a central vac. And voila! With this purchase I was granted my wish. The kit made the dream come true! All the pieces make cleaning 100% easier. No filters to clean, reach all those hard to reach spots and coil hose and put it away. Works exquisitely! The price was half of what i had researched and it was shipped expediently. A wonderfully smooth transaction to make cleaning my home easier. Thank you.

Everything working now

Had a problem with the switch not working. Look at the comments for the solution. 35 foot hose is great. Extension handle is interesting. Not sure what it is for except maybe to store it. Tool caddy that snaps to wand is great. Tools are great. Power head seems pretty good. Occasionally seems to vary power. Not sure what that is about. My hose is tight in the wall with good connection. However I cannot remove the power head from the wand. It is permanently fused on there. The button is hard to ...

Great value for the product. I had been looking for a replacement kit for some time. Lightweight to use. Fits my older central vac system well.

Purchased this set so that we could use the central vac system in our newly purchased townhouse unit - without spending a fortune. We have been pleasantly surprised overall! This is a great kit for the money. I went to a local dealer in my area and a similar kit was nearly $600. The hose is lightweight, however, is a little difficult to get out of the rolled position...I'm sure this will soften with time and is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. I ordered a spare hose for a different floor of the house in the longer length and DO NOT have this problem as the hose is a little softer which I prefer. Great Value

We moved into a new house with a central vac but the hose and attachments were missing. We are very happy with this kit. It came with all of the necessary attachments and the power head works very well. I really like the ability to extend and retract the wand. It makes cleaning the car easy when it is short but extends back out long enough for use in the house. All in all a great value and sturdy construction.

Amazing tool kit

I got this kit to replace an old kit that I had. I was blown away with the quality of the tools. The suction was amazing. I literally pulls the dirt towards the tools. The additional accessories are also amazing and work very well on hardwood as well as carpet. A great purchase!!

Great accessory kit. The hose...not so great

Wonderful accessories. It is very easy to change between attachments. I avoided a 5 star rating because the hose kinks very, very easily. Our prior hose has metal rings throughout, and we never had a kink. This hose is lightweight, and easy to lug around, but at a price. It is very easy to type in your central vac online to see if this is compatible.

Better than I expected! After being a loyal Rainbow user for over 20 yrs I was skeptical about any other vacuum system. We built a second home and had central vac installed. I loved it. Then my trusty Rainbow at our main home died and a replacement was around $2k and a rebuilt model was $600. We purchased the rebuilt and had nothing but problems. Lightweight, like the light, the hose is somewhat difficult to plug in and unplug from the wall. Just have to be a little careful.

Great Buy

Great product. I believe the true test of any vacuum is dog fur on carpets. I have never had a vacuum get fur up in one sweep until now and I have had several vacs over the years. The amazing part of the one sweep dog fur removal was that it had been ground in for weeks as I searched for something new after my previous vac broke. The communication with this seller was exceptional and once I chose the kit I wanted it was shipped quickly. I couldn't be any happier with my purchase. James

I bought this because we moved into a house with central vac, we didn't have central vac in our previous home. There was a central vac kit left behind however the vacuum head did not stay on the wand, it kept falling off. Also the hose was very dirty after 8 years of use and way too long, it was a pain to lug it in and out of storage, I wanted a shorter hose. Great quality and great price.

Ive been using now for 6 months on a 3000sqr ft home. With all types of flooring. No problems out of the box like others reported, but I have been using these vacuums for many decades. My preference is for the plug in cord, which this one has. My experience with the two-prong plug has not been favorable--many issues and must constantly giggle plug to work the beater bar. Great value and a great product

This is a great product and a very reasonable price. Some have noted the lack of instructions, but I found everything very intuitive right out of the box. We have adapted this to use with a large shop-vac having no central vac in our house, but by plugging the hose into the wall and an adaptor to the vac, it works great!
