What Customers Are Saying
The shower arm extension offers adjustable positioning, but has mixed quality and durability. Many users found it convenient and flexible, allowing them to set the desired shower head height. However, a significant number reported issues like leaks, broken parts, and reduced water pressure, especially with hard water use. The product's quality and reliability appear inconsistent, so careful inspection upon installation is recommended to ensure it meets the user's needs.

Would not recommend.
Would Not RecommendHad 2 months and had never been moved up or down. Was taking shower and the whole end blew off, flooding my bathroom.Somehow the threads stripped. Don’t even know how that could happen. Very light weight and cheaply made.
Cheap Material
Would Not Recommendeasily strips out the ends such that it can't support the weight of the showerhead.

Doesn't adjust properly
Would Not RecommendBought this and had it installed. This was installed correctly. Wanted to raise it just a bit and it will not raise at all. If I raise it using the little "handles" it just goes back to where it was. This was expensive for someone living on Social Security and I am NOT at all happy with it. It has a hand held shower head attached to it and I see pictures with same type of hand-held so I know it's not the weight of the shower head hand-held. If I had packaging and could find receipt, I'd ta...
The Levers are Cheap
Would Not RecommendI was in need of an adjustable shower arm. After going to lowes, and seeing the AquaSource arm was the only option. I purchased, and installed it with no issue. My main concerns were that the arm sagged to one side, and the levers felt flimsy. After a few days of use, I noticed the arm drooping. When trying to tighten the lever it just stripped off with little force. After reading reviews I noticed very many people having the levers fail in the exact same way. I remeded the issue with a m8 nut. ...
Broken adjuster nut
Would Not RecommendLike others note, the adjuster nut / handle will crack and no longer allow the arm to stay in place. I will probably just get a plain nut and use to keep in place.
Leaked on day 2
Would Not RecommendWould not recommend this product. It has to many moving joints that are not needed and more chances of it leaking. This one started to leak the second day after installation. Tried to adjust the moving joint where it was leaking from but the next day it started leaking again.
adjustable handle on wall end cracked
well I hate doing this but the inner part of the handle to adjust the extension from the pipe from the wall was hardly ever touched but yet it cracked right down the of the treads and now is ruined only after 3 months with only 2 people using that shower... I will modify this review once I figure out what to do next

Levers will strip or break
Would Not RecommendCheaply made. The lever that is supposed to tighten the ends is brittle. Do not try to tighten to hard because it will strip or break leaving you with a useless extension.

Adjustable knobs striped in less than 2 weeks
Would Not RecommendAdjustable knobs stripped within 2 weeks of install and would not hold shower head up. Junk!
good that it has a lifetime warrantee
Would RecommendWe have used the AquaSource #0663226 with WaterPik handheld shower heads for a number of years. Over those years, AcquaSource has made various design changes that have made this model a bit more durable and reliable, but there are still some design flaws, such as using Pot metal for some castings, such as the hinges, which fail. Good thing it has a lifetime (limited??) warantee. Still the best extension out there!
An Improvement
Would RecommendThis shower extension arm fixes the flaws in previous versions: it’s metal, rather than plastic. It has a form of wing-nut for tightening or loosening each of the two sections….much easier to adjust.
