Would Not RecommendOver-all, the product is too light weight. It is a brilliant engineering design for cost reduction, but it is on the verge of not being suitable for its intended purpose. The U-shape on the end of the rod was so oversized, it slipped off the valve. I had to apply heat and a carefully calibrated hammer blow to narrow the gap. Worked fine. It didn't turn the valve.
Would Not RecommendI was unable to turn the valve using this key. A neighbor also tried, but he could not make it budge, either. So I called the Water Department, and they turned off my water with their water key. Then I had to call them again when I got back in town so they could turn my water back on.
