Orbit   Sprinkler Adjustment Key

The Saturn IV and Voyager II gear-drive rotor sprinkler adjustment key is engineered for adjusting the arc and radius, as well as for raising the riser stem when the water is off. The tool consists of a 3/32 Allen key for adjusting the radius, two finger loops for gripping, and an arc adjustment key. In a pinch you can also use a 3/32 Allen key for radius adjustment only. To adjust the arc, insert the plastic tee side of tool into the circle with the +/- and rotate clockwise to increase the arc and counterclockwise to decrease it. Note that the right side is fixed side so the adjustments will increase or decrease the left stop. To adjust the radius, put the Allen key into the arrow and turn clockwise to decrease the radius and counterclockwise to increase it. To raise the riser stem when the water is off, insert the plastic tee side of the tool into the rectangular slot, turn 90 degrees, and lift. The Saturn III and Voyager adjust with a standard slotted screwdriver and do not require a key. Compatible with Orbit, Hydro-Rain and Hunter gear-drive rotors. Orbit   Brass Sprinkler Tool Kit

The sprinkler system winterization kit is engineered for blowing water from a sprinkler system which helps to help prevent winter freeze damage to pipes, valves, and heads. The kit consists of a 1/2" FPT x 1/4-inch I/M brass adapter and a 3/4" FHT x 1/2" MPT brass hose faucet adapter. This allows you to connect an air compressor to a mainline via a 1/2-inch sprinkler riser or a hose faucet adapter. Use thread seal tape between the male and female threads. To perform winterization, ensure water is off at the main, attach the winterization kit to the mainline, attach an air compressor capable of producing 80 to 100 CFM of airflow to the I/M adapter, set the compressor between 50 and 80 PSI, use the sprinkler controller to open each zone, beginning with the highest and farthest from the point of connections, and actuate the compressor until the air flows freely through the heads. Repeat for each zone. Wear safety glasses to ensure safety. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.

Orbit   Tunneling Kit

Sometimes there is no option but to run pipes or conduit under a sidewalk. In that case, you can rent a power boring machine, buy an expensive sidewalk sleeve tool, or buy the walkway tunnel kit. The walkway tunnel kit is an inexpensive first step, and it may be just perfect for your needs. Please read the online reviews to get a feeling for the range of uses and the key success factors, but the following is typical: “I didn't think there was any possible way this would work as advertised. I had a 9.5' sidewalk to go under and thick clay soil, so I figured this would be a nightmare. I didn't have many other options though and the price was cheap enough to give it a try. Bought a 10' PVC pipe for $3, glued the ends on there and dug a long shallow trench. Turned on the water and I was through in about 3 minutes. Worked so well I bought another one and did it again so I could have separate pipes for my drip irrigation and landscape lighting cord.” The kit includes a nozzle for one end of the pipe and a hose connection for the other end. You will need to buy a length of 3/4-inch pipe that is slightly longer than the area you are tunneling under, and PVC cement to glue the nozzle and hose connection fittings to the pipe. If you are installing 1-inch PVC pipe, you will need to buy a 1” x 3/4" PVC bushing. Your garden hose provides the trenching power. When you are finished tunneling, you will cut off the fittings, leaving the pipe in place under the sidewalk. Recommended operating pressure is 60 PSI. The steel sprinkler valve key is engineered for turning on and off or adjusting the flow of manual or automatic sprinkler valves which have a flow control mechanism. The prongs of the sprinkler valve key are spaced so that they fit over the handle of the valve and allow you to rotate it clockwise to reduce flow and counterclockwise to increase flow. Plated steel ensures long life of the key in a variety of weather conditions. The sprinkler key is available in 30-inch and 54-inch lengths to handle a variety of valve box depths.
