Pool Skimmer

I haven't actually got to use this skimmer yet. We have not opened the pool yet, will most likely be next week. Looking at it, it looks sturdy and has good netting. It seems sturdy and built to last. It appears to be made with good quality.

Really bulky, doesn't let you sweep along the walls of the pool.

Bigger, Sturdier & Better!

Upon receipt used it the very next day in my pool. The handle allows for 2 size poles which made it much more convenient for my smaller pole for both connecting & disconnecting by using the second button. Unit is very sturdy and a bit larger compared to those I have had in the past. Due to the heavier frame it doesn’t allow me to get as close to the edge of the pool. I prefer this unit’s size and sturdiness.

First, I had no clue Lowe's carried pool products. So I was elated to find a section in lawn and garden. If you're looking for a sturdy product, look no more! Frame and netting are made to last. Small pool or large, this is a can't miss.

Great skimmer

Great pool skimmer. Frame is solid plastic and the net doesn’t feel fragile. I like that it fits two different poles and with double spring locks instead of single. The first one arrived broken and used the contact info. Immediately had someone take care of the issue and got out a replacement. Excellent customer service. I look forward to getting many leaves and bugs out of my pool with this.

Wide mouth skimmer

I like the large surface area of the net which is inset inside the frame and allows you to collect more debris. The weave of the net is tight and does well to grab all the tiny things that collect on the surface. It's lightweight and pretty easy to manipulate from the other end of the pole. Now the cons. Simple pool skimmer that gets the job done.

This is a nice skimmer. It works well in the pool however I would like the frame to be a bit stronger. I don't think the plastic will last very long since we store our pool equipment outside. It does the job and his light enough for me to use.

Average skimmer net

While the thick edges seem like this is a stronger bet, it feels a bit flimsy when pulling along in the water with resistance. Also the screen is typical and I’d prefer companies put a finer mesh net to get those tiny bugs that even the pool filters fail to capture. The frame is plastic but where it fits with the pole is metal. The pole connector seems solid.

Lightweight Pool Skimmer

Good quality pool skimmer with a great shape. The straight front edge makes it easier to scoop up leaves etc than the traditional rounded end. This skimmer is also very light being all plastic but seems sturdy enough to last.

Way to go Lowes

Out with the old in with the far better. Our old skimmer net has been torn for a while. Lowes to the rescue. This net is light years ahead of our old one. It's a little larger than our old one which means quicker cleaning. The mesh frame is strong and the attachment of the net is perfect. Its molded into the frame smoothly which allows for flawless skimming without having to chase the debris. I should of replaced our old one some time ago. Way to go Lowes.

Sturdy product

This is a great sturdy skimmer. The mesh is more of a cloth so I dont think we will have to replace it as quickly. The handle is also large enough that you could use it without the pole.

Nice skimmer, very sturdy

I like this skimmer quite a bit. I have a couple other's that are a smaller diameter than my pool pole that I have and it allows the skimmer to fall out. This one works great. No issues.

Sturdy pool skimmer

I was impressed at how sturdy this pool skimmer was. It has a button to press to attach to a standard pool pole. This makes it a lot easier to attach than our previous skimmer. It also cuts through the water easily. Overall, I expect this to last a while.

The net is very well constructed and made for being able to scoop items off the bottom of the pool easily. The the buttons work also makes it easy to quickly add and remove it from you pool pole. The design makes for forcing many types of items on the bottom of the pool into the net for removal.
