Would RecommendI decided that it was time to restrain my cedar picket fence. This brush made it much easier to apply the stain evenly and get good coverage. Since the pickets are about 5 1/2 inches wide, this 5 inch brush does a really good job covering the entire picket with minimal passes over the picket

Very Good brush for staining 5" deck boards
Would RecommendThere are not a lot of 5" brushes out there period. I have 5" boards on my deck and this brush was great for staining them. Only complaint was some bristles fell out (one or two) while staining.

Would RecommendWe coated our deck and dock with oil based Valspsr stain and finish with this brush. Best brush for jobs like these! Bristles hold more stain and get into crevices on older wood as well as a smooth coat on new deck boards. Fits a standard gallon can perfectly.

I used this brush to stain my deck. It did a great job of covering lots of area in one stroke. However the bristles would fray off and I would have to cut or pull them out of the brush.
