What Customers Are Saying
The paint roller is effective for creating a textured finish on walls and ceilings, but requires some technique and preparation to achieve the desired results. It works well for texturing new drywall or skim coating, and is praised for being durable and easy to clean. However, it can be messy and may require multiple passes or additional tools to get the right texture. The roller works best for a light to medium textured effect, but may not be suitable for a very heavy or uniform texture. Proper paint mixing and application technique are important for the best results.

Would RecommendAfter just using this tonight, the best method i found was to paint on a nice medium-thick layer of paint with a regular roller, then go over that paint with this plastic roller to gove it the texture. This roller used alone sucks up an incredible amount of paint that ends up soaked into the center part of the roller.
texturing
Great way to manually texture. Need to get the right consistency on the joint compound.
Easy peasy
Would RecommendI bought this to do a popcorn ceiling in my bathroom and it was easy to use. I used rolling texture/sand/white. I mixed it in the container it came in scooped some out on a paint tray and rolled it on. Make sure to get a good coating and just take your time because it doesn't go far. I'd recommend going in straight lines and then at your corners/walls go both horizontal and vertical once your done you can re go over everything with little or nothing on the roller to make smaller popcorns and to ...
waste of time
Would Not RecommendThe only way to use this roller is with another roller to actually put the paint on the wall., then maybe this one will texturize what is up. Using this as a paint/texture roller will just be a waste of time, ,money and paint.
Drips
The roller was not of good quality and caused a huge mess.

Rollin’, rollin’, rolling...
Would RecommendDefinitely gives a textured finish. Used it with the wall & ceiling texture material. To match the old plaster, I had to sand down the high points but the roller made the work go faster.

One time Use
Would RecommendThis is a great product for wall texture - just make sure spackling is more viscous. After washing it, it breaks down - single-use product.

Outstanding Texture Roller
Would RecommendThis roller saved our project. We rolled thin set over a poor stucco job we did and this gave us a perfect textured look. Roller washes well and was used many times.

Okay
Bought this to use for a texture on a new drywall wall. A little more expensive but the roller did what it said it would with the paint we used.
