Ratings & Reviews for Project Source 4.8 -Amp 7-in -Blade Wet Tabletop Tile Saw

What Customers Are Saying
This tile saw is a lightweight and portable option suitable for small DIY tiling projects. It has a powerful 4.8 amp motor that can handle cutting through ceramic and mosaic tiles. However, the fence is reported as flimsy and difficult to keep aligned, which can lead to inaccurate cuts. The water reservoir is small and prone to getting dirty quickly, and the included blade is considered subpar, requiring an upgrade to a higher-quality diamond blade. The sliding table extension and bevel features are also of limited usefulness. Overall, this is a decent budget-friendly option for occasional DIY tile cutting, but may not be suitable for more demanding professional or large-scale projects.

Would RecommendHad a light bathroom project with floor and walls. Saw performed very good. Only had one issue that some tile pieces cut got stuck between blade and guide. Otherwise would recommend highly.

Likeit!
Would RecommendI had one job to do...the common bathroom at home. And it's all about the tools. So instead of hiring an installer for $1,300- and 1-days' work, I bought this. It worked great! And that job went so well, my wife wants the kitchen walls now. Same savings and fun to do. I will say, keep it clean afterwards. That's just ceramic. Take care of your tools and they'll take care of you. Not sure if it's a long-term tool but it definitely pays if you have some basic skills.

Metal deck rusted after one dayu
Would Not RecommendI returned this saw after one day of use for 3 reasons: 1. Deck started to rust during first use. 2. The saw will not cut straight and I found not way to adjust it. 3. The plastic saw guide is extremely difficulty to adjust properly
Poor quality design
Would Not RecommendPoor quality. It keeps on shutting off.,

Great Little Wet Saw
Would RecommendI was apprehensive about purchasing this wet saw after reading the reviews. Decided to go with it. No regrets! This saw did an awesome job of cutting a mosaic tile of glass, marble and porcelain. Also cut perfectly marble subway tiles used for a border. I used the blade provided with the saw. Very pleased with how this product performed.
Buy for $100 and you got a steal!!
This the best wet saw for the price. Very accurate. Great diamond blade

nice little saw
Would RecommendThe tile saw worked well as designed, It had enough power to cut through the 12-24 tile I was cutting. Need to align the guard when mounting to keep the tile from getting stuck when cutting. The only down side is the guide arm is plastic and does not move up and down easily when adjusting the width.

Gets The Job Done, But Not Anything Special
Would RecommendMy first impressions of this tile saw were that it was better than expected. From the pictures online I thought it was all plastic, but the table surface and the fence are made of metal. The water reservoir doubles as storage space for the wrenches and miter guide. It also has a handle on the side that makes it easy to carry around and store. The screws for securing the riving knife go directly into the plastic, so you need to be careful not to strip out the plastic. The riving knife was also ha...
OK Tile Saw
Would Not RecommendThis tile saw get's the job done, but if you are used to a sliding table type tile saw then I would pass on purchasing this one. The saw is fine for small tiles, but any complicated cuts are difficult to make due to having to slide the tile along the fence vs.s sliding the table with a tile on it. Any bevel cuts are made by tilting the one side of the table and using flip out props to hold the table in place. The angle is set for 45 degrees and is accurate. The one side of the table extends o...
This wet saw performs as expected.
Would RecommendThe Project source 7 inch wet saw performed as I expected it to. You can make bevel cuts using the bevel table, 22.5 or 45 degree angles, depending on what set of notches in the fold out legs you use. You can make angle cuts using the adjustable miter guide by setting the angle you want and tightening the guide knob, to hold it securely. And, of course, you can make straight cuts with the rip guide. The rip guide slides back and fourth and locks down where you choose. The saw also has an ext...
Pretty good
Would RecommendI have only ever used circular saw and scoring type of tile saws before. and usually my go to is an angle grinder with a diamond blade for cutting tile. But I wanted to try something different. Using cheap tiles to make coasters. I'm giving this 5 stars because for what it is it is pretty good at the price point. not because I don't think it could be better. Overall I really like it. Pros. No need for hose, or other sketchy water delivery. The hood and the self contained water reservoir do a g...
This thing should get most DIY projects done
Would RecommendAfter looking at other reviews of this I wanted to see what this saw had to offer, so here's what I got for you so far. It's lightweight, portable, easy to store and setup, It took about 20 minutes to assemble this and all the needed tools are provided. The tub is easily accessed and the plug to drain it is also easy to access. I agree with a lot of the other reviews about the fence being flimsy, however if you're not in a hurry and have access to see both sides, it works fine after it's set. Th...
Plastic
It really is a cheap made saw, as other people have said it doesn't cut well or straight, Not even worth the cheap price
Not as good or as useful as it looks
Would Not RecommendSo the box makes this look great - bevel feature and sliding table extension for larger tiles, but those features aren't well done and of limited use. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent saw, but it's not going to change your life. Overall it has power and can cut a tile assuming you get the fence lined up straight. At least there's a ruler on both sides of the saw to help with that part. Water reservoir is built in which means it's hard to clean out the thick layer of tile 'dust'/'sludge' tha...
Perfect table saw
Would RecommendThis saw is great. The blade melted right through my tile. The extension table allows more space for bigger sized pieces. The guide fence locks securely giving a straight cut. The water tank is easy to fill and empty. The blade guard keeps all the water from spraying everywhere. The 4.8 amp motor is plenty powerful and quiet. Would recommend.
Perfect tile saw for our home renovation!
Would Recommendthis is the perfect tile saw for our home renovation! It is lightweight- easy to carry around the house and store in the basement - but sturdy! The sawblade cuts beautifully, really clean and straight cuts with no chatter so it looks really nice in the final instal (you can see the photos attached). It only took a couple minutes to set up, install the blade and the guide and get started. I love that the guide has measurements on both sides so you can be sure that you're cutting nice straight li...
