Ratings & Reviews for Project Source 4.8 -Amp 7-in -Blade Wet Tabletop Tile Saw

What Customers Are Saying
This tile saw is a lightweight and portable option suitable for small DIY tiling projects. It has a powerful 4.8 amp motor that can handle cutting through ceramic and mosaic tiles. However, the fence is reported as flimsy and difficult to keep aligned, which can lead to inaccurate cuts. The water reservoir is small and prone to getting dirty quickly, and the included blade is considered subpar, requiring an upgrade to a higher-quality diamond blade. The sliding table extension and bevel features are also of limited usefulness. Overall, this is a decent budget-friendly option for occasional DIY tile cutting, but may not be suitable for more demanding professional or large-scale projects.

Would Not RecommendSaw cuts very well but the fence and 45 degree attachment are very cheap and difficult to use.

Works good for the price
Would RecommendNot the greatest saw in the world but it also isn't most expensive either. Cuts like a $100 tile saw would cut, comparable to other name brand saws at higher price point. Fence is flimsy but it has a fence at least and my blade came alittle warped. All in all it does the job and works as advertised.
Does the job
Would RecommendI used to have a pro type wet saw, but sold it because it was just collecting dust and I did not forsee any use for one in the future. I ended up having to redo a small bathroom floor because of a toilet leak and floor rot. This involved taking out the old tiles and then needing to replace with new tiles after the repair was done. The layout was simple and I only needed to make six cuts. I did not have a lot of room for error because I only bought 2 boxes (total of 30 sq ft) and could not afford...
Nothing
Would RecommendI liked the product cause it cuts very smooth and simple assembly on the con side the side bar isn't good to use for guidance

Does the job
Would RecommendJust need to cut the tile slowly. I was able to cut 6x24 inch tile on both sides to even a 3/4 x 24 thin piece. Just be patient.
Did the job BUT…
Would Not RecommendThe saw got the job done but it rusted after two days use. It was cleaned and dried between uses as well. Being on the cheap end of wet saws I guess you can’t expect much.

A wet saw that rusts
Would Not RecommendYou read right. One would think that a wet saw would handle water. I used this for about 20 tiles and after a few hours went back to cut more and found the table top completely rusted. The tile would not slide smoothly anymore and caused a lot of chipping. Please do not buy this! Spend the extra money for a wet saw that can actually withstand water.
Basic wet saw
Would RecommendThis saw is an inexpensive saw that gets the job done without any frills.

So far, so good!
Would RecommendI bought this saw to replace a much more expensive brand that seized up after only a month of usage. So far, I've used this new saw for about two weeks and it works well for the price and is easy to use. Not fond of the water basin's plug; it's very difficult to push in and pull out. I've resorted to not pushing it in all the way, which results in slight dripping under which I need to place a bucket.

Project Source Wet Tile Cutter
Would Not RecommendAnyone not familiar with cutting tile using a wet tile cutter will have problems using this cheap tile cutter. the adjustable bench is a hassle to use, very flimsy design. Cuts ok but one has to be careful to get square cuts. The table tops rusted overnight, not rust resistant at all. Would not buy again.
Saw is ok for back splash
Would RecommendIt’s ok u have to check the fence on it good and blade is very exposed you need a steady hand and know what your doing or you could get hurt I would spend lil more and get a better saw on the real but for one project it’s good for that I will say it’s light and easy to move around but I would never do a huge job or repeated jobs with this saw its definitely a Harry homeowner saw not professional grade u get what u pay for that’s what I always say !
