What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this digging bar for exceptional durability and powerful leverage across demanding outdoor tasks. Most highlight its heavy-duty construction, sharp edge retention, and ability to break through tough soil, rocks, and concrete without bending. The dual-ended design proves versatile for stump removal, fence post extraction, soil tamping, and prying. Many report completing large projects faster with less physical strain, calling it an essential tool they wish they'd purchased sooner. A few note it felt heavy for prolonged use or experienced bending under extreme stress, though these accounts are isolated.

Would RecommendI bought this to help remove a 7 inch amp of an apple tree. The purpose was to lever the stump out after all the main side roots were cut. It worked fantastically, I used it to rock the stump from a variety of sides. I could hear the minor roots tearing out. after a few minutes the root ball popped out.

Disappointed in the strength of the bar.
Mild steel. Bent the first time I used it. Not as good as my dad's old school digging bar. I wish they made things as well as they used to.

Solid bar for the money
Would RecommendI liked the weight for setting the cement, dirt or gravel with the blunt end and very strong to pry without bending to cut roots out and pry rocks loose.

Post Hole Bar
Would RecommendBought one in anticipation of post holes in clay soil. Worked well in the digs, even breaking some concrete blow outs that were in the way. Missouri rocks were a little more stubborn but at least they would move, if the bar was used as a wedge.
Down ‘n dirty tool for the ages!
Would RecommendBeen using these post hole rods since I was young and they will never let you down.

Essential tool
Would RecommendThis thing is heavy-duty and gets the job done (while building biceps). It feels super strong and solid and the weight of it lets gravity do half of the work for you. Highly recommended, essential for post-hole digging! Not sure how I lived without this tool my whole life, actually.
