Bought this as a tamper, to tamp the ground around a post (after installing a new post). Worked great for that. I expect it would work good for digging as well. But if you're digging a post hole, you really need a post hole digger as well.

Would Not RecommendI am going to bring this back after just a couple of hours of use. Dug out one hole with a moderate sized rocks. I bent the bar on the very first try.
Cheap and works...
Would Not Recommend...but I bent it on my first use trying to get a stump out. I'm 250lbs and muscular, but I shouldn't be able to bend it, I was scared to try to hard for fear of bending it too much.
