Directions are easy to understand, and assembly takes about 20=30 minutes. Shelf is perfect to place in storage cabinet to add shelves. Unit is light weight but sturdy and stable and allows plenty of room for storage of light and heavy items. Would Not RecommendI bought 2 of these along with the totes in Feb 2025 and after one year both shelves are sagging badly and I am unable to pull out and access the totes because they are stuck! I am buying new shelves. Waste of money.

The shelf was easy to put together however, it does not hold as much weight as claimed. Came home from work to find everything on the floor in the garage and the shelf leaned over after two of the legs had snapped.
