What Customers Are Saying
This tabletop tile saw offers mixed performance. It can handle basic tile cutting tasks adequately, but may struggle with thicker or more delicate tiles, resulting in chipping and poor edge quality. The plastic construction raises durability concerns, with some reports of parts breaking or the blade becoming unstable over time. While it provides a budget-friendly option, customers should carefully consider their specific needs and be prepared to potentially upgrade components or replace the saw if persistent quality issues arise. For more extensive tile work, a higher-end wet saw may be a better long-term investment.

Would RecommendI bought this saw for a kitchen project to hang 35 sq ft of 9x9 ceramic tile. The saw performed excellent. The motor seemed strong enough to cut my tile without bogging down. My only disapproval....and it is minor....the rip guide is really "cheezy". The stops on the guide are poorly designed and hard to use....but...the whole saw was only $64 also...so, you get what you pay for. I would recommend this saw to anyone doing a DIY project. It is NOT for commercial use, but for home projects....yes,...
Perfect for the Weekend Warrior DIY-ers like me
Would Not RecommendGreat price for a wet saw! I was so glad to find out about this! It saved my sanity and my backsplash. My backsplash had lots of small tiles meshed together and this saw was able to cut straight lines through the tile & mesh with no problems. I do suggest upgrading to a diamond blade for stone or granite tile.

Great value
Would RecommendWe just finished installing a kitchen backsplash of about 55 sq ft / 450 pieces of 3x6 ceramic tile. Used this saw and its included blade and had no problems whatsoever. I like that the rip fence is notched on 1/16" increments; it made it very easy to make minor adjustments.

I am writing this since there was so many negative reviews. I did my kitchen backsplash with many cuts. I used the blade it came with and had no issues. I cut the tile upside down and had no chips. For 65 bucks you can’t go wrong. don’t hesitate and buy it.
Chalk this up to "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR"!!!
Would Not RecommendWas looking for a cost-effective wetsaw for my 3x12 ceramic kitchen backsplash project. This looked exactly like the HFT and the same price so picked it up at Lowes when I got the tiles. BIG MISTAKE! Where to I begin with ALL the cons and no pros!!: 1) The saw sprays water everywhere even with the clear guard down...it's impossible to see the cutting line! 2) The 4.5" blade sucks and chipped the white glossy finish on all my test pieces! 3) The guide is 100% plastic and needs teeth to hold into ...
Don't waste time
Would Not RecommendAfter reading reviews purchased this since my project was small, subway tiles in laundry room. I found the instructions easy to follow, assembly a snap. Prior to starting my project did a functional test. Plugged this saw into a grounded outlet in garage. Ran for less than 10 seconds, popped circuit breaker. Reset breaker, used a different outlet, no-go. Now jumping though hoops to get a refund!

You get what you paid for...
Would RecommendLike it says on the box - 'project' - anything beyond home projects would be too much to ask for. It was good enough for what I needed. Blade is ok for ceramic as long as you don't expect perfect cuts. The table top is slightly uneven from left to right so the piece being cut will jump at the end and it will notch your pieces. Do not trust the ruler on the sides. Best way to get a halfway decent cut is to start the cut from one side and then turn the piece around to finish the cut. Somewha...

First time tile cutting
Would RecommendThe Project Source Table Top tile cutter was just what I needed for my kitchen backsplash job. This was my first time cutting tile and I found this to be easy to use and nearly perfect for cutting ceramic tile. I' m now feeling confident enough to take on other tile cutting projects! The only improvement I suggest is making the guide more user friendly. FYI.. older female that likes to tackle projects.
Riving knife problems
Would Not RecommendOur saw was extremely tough to use due to a misaligned/deformed knife. Sounds like a cheap angle grinder when fired up. You would be wise to just rent a superior saw for your job.
Not good
Would Not RecommendThere is not anything that I liked about this tile cutter. The guide kept disengaging when trying to cut a tile and the unit walked across the floor.
