Would RecommendIf you are wanting to make your own lamp, this is the way to go. I needed a lamp for a small area and this kit gave me the option to make exactly what I wanted. Very happy with the end results. Even though this kit says for a bottle lamp, you can use it in many other ways.

Not bad, not perfect
Would RecommendThe directions weren't the easiest to follow at times (it was the first time I'd ever tried anything involving wiring before...) but I managed to make a working lamp! Also none of the three stoppers fit properly, but in using one that was too small, I just wrapped some duct tape around it and voila! Can't beat the price, but it's not perfect. Gotta go with the flow...

Would RecommendThis bottle kit is a good deal for the money and it is very easy to assemble. The only problem I had was that the stopper they give you (the part that goes in the bottle) does not fit any bottle known to man. This was not a huge problem, however, as I simply used the cork that came with the bottle. This was a bit of a pain but it wasn't the end of the world. Good product otherwise.

Would RecommendI have made several wine bottle lamps with this kit. It is very easy to assemble. I would highly recommend this product. The kit from a competitor was a bit cheaper but not UL rated, which is why I chose this one.
