Would Not RecommendWorked great to replace a worn out socket in an old hanging lamp. Only lasted a year though, and I only turn the lamp on and off once a day. It works, yes, but I can’t recommend this because I don’t want to have to replace it every year.

Would RecommendMy wife has a very old side-table lamp, which was her parents' wedding gift, and the electrical parts were both very out of date and badly worn - in addition to not working. I purchased two of these lamp sockets along with a 12' plug-in wire cable and used these to replace to old parts. They fit just right, wired easily and work perfectly.
