Would RecommendWas tired of the flimsy, push-together plugs. This is a hard plastic that screws together. Seems much more substantial than the metal ones. Plus should be non-rusting as my usage is near the beach. The pull chain is fine but would like the push through type offered as well.
Great Lamp Part with a Great Price
Would RecommendOur old lamp broke as the "Twist Knob" would no longer catch to turn on the lamp. The part was somewhat unique as it was not the metal press fit lamp socket but Bakelite plastic where the sections screw together. I always check Lowes first and they had the part but a "Pull Chain" version rather than a "Twist Knob". I made the repair. The part matched and fit perfectly and I pulled the chain and the light came right on. Great part, easy installation. I like the twist apart versions of the Lamp So...

Easy to use pull chain socket
Would RecommendThis socket was easier to use than metal ones I've used in the past. I liked it that the two parts screw together rather than having to be forced, one over the other, which are hard to pull apart.
