Will not fit 12/3; didn't try a 14/3; fits 16/3 well. Not the greatest retention strength/design so don't yank on the cord while plugged in. It works well though & has held up just fine under normal use. Good value for $5.

I can't believe Underwriter's Laboratory approves this. I bought several of these. There is no way to restrain these from coming apart and causing a short! The wires are screwed down, and that's it. It is only a matter of time before the wires work themselves loose. Good job, UL!
