Bad Packing

The glass can move on the base, scratching the base and glass so open the box before you buy it will save you a trip back to store.

Bright and easy to install

We had to replace a bathroom ceiling light and I chose this one based on price and features. WOW, I had no idea how bright the light would be and without generating a lot of heat which means LESS power consumption. I will replace every light possible with this type product.

Going to get another one for dinning room !

No light bulb to ever replace again. I love all the light it gives off and uses very little energy.

Excellent light

This light is superb! It installs just like any other light, and I never have to change the light bulb(s)! Can it be any better than that?

Good and cheap

I used this to replace a two bulb, four foot florescent light housing in my small kitchen. It is cheap to be sure but it seems to be able to light our space as well as the previous light fixture. It does cast weird shadows though. It is bright enough for small spaces.

Great light and easy to install

The light is very bright and will use much less energy with the LED bulds. Also, was very simple to install.

Bright Light

this overhead light with an LED bulb and a white opaque cover provides bright, ambient light - (much better than a regular overhead light and regular light bulb). and the brushed nickle base is up to date. It is perfect as an overhead light in my "computer" room.

Color temperature of light

The color temperature is advertised as bright white; however, installed in my hallway adjacent to my kitchen the light is far more tinted to "warm" or "brown" color temperature compared to my kitchen light which is a true Bright White. I plan to install a CL dimmer in the near future ; I feel this might help to minimize the disparity in color temperature between the hallway and the kitchen.

Very bright light

I bought two of these lights to replace some 30-year old brass ones that hardly put out any light. These are LED and really light up the hallways. They were fairly easy to install as well.

Excellent light

Easy to install, inexpensive, and gives off lots of light! The gray brushed nickel finish looks cheap but this finish looks great. A++

Enclosed LED light fixture

I purchased this to use in my home office, but ended up returning it. The light would be great for a hallway or closet, but the light output just wasn't bright enough to replace my existing 3 bulb fixture that looks very similar to this one.

installation tip

The globe is nearly impossible to remove according to the directions. Here's a tip: Remove the nuts holding the LED driver in place (on the back side of the fixture...note: the LED driver will still be attached by the wires.. don't tug on it). Underneath it, You'll find a thin lock nut. Remove it (needle-nose pliers work well... MAKE SURE THE GLOBE IS SECURE BEFORE REMOVING THE LOCK NUT), this will release the globe assembly. Easy Low Cost Savings

These LED ceiling lights were purchased for my master bedroom closet. They are LED lights with NO BULBS which means I NEVER have to replace a bulb again! They are bright and what a difference they make. The great part is I NEVER HAVE TO CHANGE A BULB and they are bright. I thought because of the price they would be cheap looking, but I really like them and would recommend them to anyone! No Cons about this purchase. Great Overhead Light

Nice bright but not overpowering light that doesn't need a light bulb!

Nice looking,BUT....

My wife and i purchased 2 of these lights for our kitchen,,,they went up easy,looked nice,(except the brown ring on the globe caused by rust or paint from the globe fastener.Then we turned them on,,,not enough light for anything more than a closet.Needless to say we returned them and purchased a couple of CFL rated fixtures.Need better descriptions of lumen output and some documentation in the lighting isle on minimum lumens for different areas of the house.
